Wilson Driver

Yes, it was fascinating. Hiring an ad campaign guy to run psyop on the guerrillas was genius.
I think the IRS is a prime candidate for house cleaning and simplification, but the bureaucracy, momentum and politics will probably prevent any real change in my lifetime. Could be the same for the USGA.

It's arbitrary....I wish someone would sue these fukks and put them out of business....I think the only way these guys go away is when the PGA, LPGA, etc. Separate themselves from the usga. I don't give a flying fukk about Wilson triton or any other oem, it's the goddam principal of the thing. If they can pull this shit with Wilson, watcha thin happens with Maltby or Hireko?
That being said they should have submitted it, but I do underatand why they didn't considering how it all went down.
And can someone explain how having a little extra weight , ie the 12g screw would impact CT/cor vs. the 2 or 6g screw in? If that's the case anyone could put extra lead tape on the same driver and impact COR...no? So is it really about COR/CT or COR/CT at the time of testing? How do these fukks pick which head gets tested, they come to Wilson and pick one or Wilson sends one?
If you knowingly doctor a head to possibly break a rule real or imagined is considered CHEATING! The key words here: knowingly changing to gain an edge.
And the company submits all lofts at $150.00 per head. Adding weigh to delay or increase head rotation is legal as well to increase swing weight but adding weight to beat a rule is cheating.
Screw both! I'm looking for an F6, now somebody list one for cheap. I should be ready to play by about next September.
If it were me I would just run with it. Too Hot for the USGA!! They might sell thru better! Run with it I say....but they won't.
I see that all this could have been prevented, if a certain party had not been in such a damn hurry......
"If submitting a mock-up, prototype or first article sample for preliminary review, no payment is necessary."
But, do they give an opinion?
Is it "too hot"?

They already stated with the 12 gram insert weights it was over CT in several lofts. That means Too Hot! doesn't it?
Par...I have verbally described an idea of mine that I wasn't sure was legal. I have also fax'ed them with a hand drawn pic of an idea. The will respond very quickly and tell you what changes need to be made even with no proto head. The engineers are very accommodating.
