PGA Championship discussion thread
My home course is nothing like Southern Hills except:
- you want to avoid the rough
- you NEVER want to go over a green
- only 2 par 5's
- the par 3's are really hard
- the course is hilly
- the bunkers are not easy to deal with
- hitting the fairway doesn't automatically mean you get a level lie or even a good look at the green
- the wind swirls
Actually my course is very much like Southern Hills except our club house would probably fit inside one of their maintenance sheds
I thought both Pereira and Zalatoris showed a lot of class in losing.

Pereira’s 18th hole reminded me of Phil’s 18th hole and ultimate loss in the U.S. Open at Wingfoot in 2006.
Sneakylong Man... Hard to believe that was in 2006. In my mind it was 8 to 10 years ago.
He was trying to steer it. The 5i was a decent swing but a poor drop yardage IMO.
