Click on the link I provided in response to it being political. The PGA Tour is lobbying Congress and the Whitehouse. That’s political. One of the reasons LIV is so controversial is because of the Saudi’s record on human rights. That’s political.
Now, some will put their heads in the sand and deny the obvious. But this issue goes beyond sports and became political from the get go.
Lobbying in Washington = Political
Human Rights = Political
So it goes way beyond some players just playing on another Tour. But if that’s the way you look at it fine. But don’t tell me the sky is green.😉
The Ryder Cup was never about money. LIV is about nothing but money.
