How did you shoot today at Golf
Eguller Had 3-4 that were on the fringe. Another 3-4 I tried putting from off the green around 6' or so, but that didn't go well for most of them.
Just now looked up the iron lofts and thinking of getting them bent a couple stronger, in order to get me on the greens.
If I just swing faster I'll fall over.
Another day of par 71. I shot 82 with 4 balls lost. Two of them were courtesy of my 6 hybrid on par 3's. That club cost me 3 to 5 strokes today, depending on how I look at the alternative reality that didn't happen.
It's time to stop using hybrids. At least I hope I can. The 6 iron won't fly as high but the bad shots are nowhere near as bad.
7 greens, 32 putts. No three putts. I didn't have my best iron game, but a lot of the damage was the effing hybrid. I did birdie the last hole with a fantastic drive and wedge to 3 feet. Our team got dusted and a lot of that was due to me.
45/45 today. Boring round. Missed too many greens fairly badly and then didn't have much chance for par. Seemed like I bogeyed nearly every hole. Four gir. Pushed sliced the last 3 drives well right after hitting them pretty straight the rest of the day. I guess it was time to get off the course, lol.

9 holes today before work and after running at the gym. Used the G400max driver today. Driver, no matter which one , hasn’t been treating me well. Hitting it all over the face. Decided to slow down and smooth it out. Hit it much much better.
Hit all 9 greens in regulation, both par 5’s in 2. Shot -4. Putting is still not there. I keep trying different putters, just gonna stick to one and work through it.
The feel off the Vapor Pro irons is OMG good. I thought the Pro combos felt good but these are on another level of soft feeling.

The Mrs and I at Wildrock Canyon in Wisconsin.
Wide fairways with bunkers everywhere (alot of which I found).
Greens had more undulations than most I've played.
Made a couple bombs to save par. 2 natural birds....78

Hotter than hell here today....mid 90's.....but I walked 18 anyway......should have listened to Mrs. Fatshot who "strongly recommend" that I ride (but I'll never tell her that!!). I shot 40-41-81 at Eagles Landing GC in Oregon, OH.
Nothing exciting......No birdies, 6 GIR, 32 putts.
Another off day today. Decided to get to the course early and actually practice everything before, usually I'll hit a dozen shots, chip a few, putt a few, but I wanted some extra practice to get off to a good start.
WRONG! Bogeys on 4 of the first 5. Just wasn't sharp with anything. +6 (42) on the easy front nine. Then finally had a little success on the back +1 (37). Missed 3 short putts (Rory length) which was quite annoying.
This was my first round in a few years with no PXG in play. Left the Gen 5 driver and 22* hybrid at home, and the 60* wedge. Added in an old Geek DCT, a really old TM Rescue mid 22* and an old Tommy Armour Atomic 5w. Geek DCT was solid, although a bit more fade than I like, but it was plenty long.
VigilanteTrail Ping i E1 irons are legit…just sayin’
It's the blue paint fill. Trust me.
Nice shooting!
sdandrea1 It's the blue paint fill. Trust me.
I might have to grab some Blue (vs Black) sharpies to keep the Poon reservoir full…
Shot 44 in league and lost on last hole. I made par but he had short sided chip in. I should have won earlier. Had 2 lipouts out earlier that cost me.
Shot 94 in a tournament last Saturday with 41 putts, oh my! Nothing was good really. Played the slumpbuster Monday to get some reps in , shot 82 which is on the cusp of being a decent round there. Figured some things out maybe?
Played yesterday and shot 37 from the whites in a league I sub in. Eagled the 3rd hole , par 5, canned it from 79 yards. First eagle in a long time. That won me $40 . Hit 6 GIR but couldn't sink any putts to make some more cash. Best I've played a nine in a long time.
Proceeded to fall apart on the back for a 50. I'm going to blame it on the 95 degree heat, lack of sleep and probably lack of talent. Pins were in absolutely diabolical places all day. But that 37 makes me feel I'm on to something with my new swing.
Typhoon No I sucked. I am struggling with the wind and how far I'm hitting the ball. It feels like I lipout every makeable putt too.
I shouldn't complain too much because the pins were in really tough spots and everyone's score was higher. The pin on #7 par 5 was on the false front and with our greens as fast as they are now it was unplayable. We had 2 balls roll up to within inches of the hole and then they rolled back down.
It is fun hitting the ball farther, but I'm not taking advantage of it. Not sure where the distance is coming from. I swing a rope and do some drills hitting balls into my net. I haven't been working out much or using my knockoff Speed Sticks. Might just be from gaining weight and getting my extra mass behind it lol.
Typhoon Yeah I felt like it was a 40 ballstriking, but pin positions, missed short putts and chasing a flag when my opponent stuffed one cost me strokes. I really need to practice my chipping and putting, but I don't even go to the range let alone the practice green.
I have to figure out some of the doglegs. I am hitting both driver and 3 wood through the fairway (no bueno), but I can't always get my 5h far enough for a good look. I need 5w or 3h again maybe? Or pull out the old 4w and choke down?
