Running out of people to kill?
I lived in Des Plains, Il. 1968 i think, when I was already halfway thru 11th grade, one of the 6 High Schools I went to (real fun). Used to go downtown Chicago. It was safe then, I think.
How Chicago pats itself on the back
I'm sure the killers are just passing their guns back and forth amongst themselves, to avoid background checks, ya know. Shithole.
It's all fixable, but I really think many don't want it fixed.
Anybody who wants a gun can get one.
sdandrea1 Yes. No need to cross a state line, which also breaks the law if it's a handgun. Stolen ones are sold on street same as drugs and flesh.
johnnydoom Understand, same with drugs, it is the people. One thing about these discussions, never gray area.
If they are not going to clean it up build a fence around it. Send in IDF.
Just throwing this out there for consumption.

Access to firearms seems to be the difference. Can't be just the people since Toronto has some of the same issues as other urban centers.
We have some rough areas but nothing like you guys have in your cities.
