colej You’re gonna advertise as a premium head the freaking faces should be flat!?!?

1 of my bosses wasn't paying attention 1 night, while installing a new front door in his own house. He showed me the next morning... the diff between what 'expanding foam' would be expected to do.....& exactly what 'triple expanding foam' would do. 🤣He did this for a living.

Had to cut the whole frame out, that door would not budge!

Back when I had my shop Hireko and Diamond Tour where two I didn’t buy much from. I looked at them as bottom line. Now , other than Golfworks they’re all that’s left.

Par4QC Soooo, are you indeed confirming that when you cut that head you have open that ‘foam’ is in there? 🤔🙂

Someone must have found a 'cheap' foundry in China.....you get what you pay for!👎

You know, I've never thought to check if a iron face was flat, just assumed they would always be flat. Interesting!

Jeff, have another look, for me, if nothing else. When you put the flat edge on the face, where does the bulge actually start? It's not humped, in the middle, is it (on all/any)? Are the faces flat except for the last 4-5 scorelines (from toe/topline)?

My AW shows what I just described, flat from leading edge to 5th line down at toe, and has got me wondering if they are not, in fact, supposed to be that way. What with a 'rebound' type face. And, it really couldn't be called a 'bulge' if this is the case.

          Par4QC

They’re humped in the middle. It’s so bad in the middle of the PW it’s got the loft jacked.

Thanks for the info but could you please rotate your photos 90°?

And if you didn’t know but hit them better than your current irons… then what?😆. And I was afraid of ordering p790’s from Aliexpress🙄🙄

Typhoon And I was afraid of ordering p790’s from Aliexpress🙄🙄

              You didn't ? 🤔🤑

colej There’s always a possibility you could hit a set of Warriors better????

People have bashed Warrior golf for years I think primarily due to their marketing tactics of badgering you to death forever. I think their product was/is pretty decent. A playing bud of mine has been playing a set of Warrior Irons for at least 10 years. They are GI irons and look as nice as any other iron head and performance seems to good as well.

I'd like the guys with a decent guage/s to chime in re specs and which brands are tight, etc. I wouldn't doubt that some OEMs are way off like posted above, but ??
