Us real men raced dirt bikes back when the horsepower overtaxed the suspension. Guys like @meagain who could just hang on to an open class Malco were monsters. I had a 400 Suzuki that handled soooo badly it was like a bucking bronco, but Holy shit was it fast. I got mostly into hare scrambles and enduros and retired with Oberved Trials, then just trail riding. By the time I was in my 50s, the suspension and handling on the bikes was excellent, but I was too old.
