Got out to Heron's Ridge for 18 today. Doubled the first hole from 97 yards out and the middle of the fairway. Four over after three holes, but ended up with 41 on the front with a birdie at 6. Back side was so-so... missed some putts i would normally make. Ended up with 42, for an 83.
The course was beautiful and in good shape.
Nice, Fall day here. The incorrect weather prognosticators said rain off and on all day, of which we got maybe a couple sprinkles that wouldn't make a bowl of flour wet so the course was pretty quiet. Left my gig at the dealership at 1, home, walk dog, change, grab sticks and teed off by 2pm, played the front in 50 mins. Caught a 2-some on 10 ( knew them well ) was let through on 11 tee. Smooth sailing until caught another 2-some that i am friends with at 16green. 4-some ahead of them, played 17 and 18 as a 3some.....I finished in 2 hrs and 4 minutes. 42/40 from the blues at 6600. A couple triples, one double, one birdie ......game is slowly coming back
I shot 38-37-75 today at Detwiler Park in Toledo, Oh. High winds again today (20 mph), but not quite as bad as
they were last week. Still warm here….77*…..but I think today is the last day for it. More seasonal temps on he way
(mid to low 60’s the rest of the week). 1 birdie, 12 GIR, 34 putts.

Can decide if I am happy or pissed about today's round. I'm going with pissed just due to the waste of a great ball striking day.

Putts: 36. Made 1 putt over 4 feet.
Sparky GIRs can make you look like a really bad putter some days.
It's a not so great short game that makes you the bad putter. Or, perhaps from having to hit greens from too far out, and just cannot get them close.
But you surely did shoot close to Par.
BTW...it is a game called 'golf'

I was supposed to play today but yesterday part of the course was underwater. We had more than 6" of rain from Sunday through Tuesday.

85 today on super fast greens. Struggled to adjust and had too many 3putts.
Back from Ocean City, MD golf trip. Came out ahead in our money games, but really didn't play well.
Shot 84 at Rum Pointe; was the low man (out of 8) but left a lot out there. The hangover seemed to help my swing.
Shot 94 at Baywood Greens and was 2nd lowest lol. Crazy windy with PCC +3. Beautiful course, but it is always 30 mph gusting winds in Nov at this place and it's not an easy track.
Worse day with 96 at Ocean Pines and was 3rd lowest. Super windy and everyone tired and hungover again. Only 3 of us under 100. Lots of leaves and parts of the course were in horrible shape.
Was low guy with 89 at Plantation Lakes. Pristine course, but every pin tucked and/or on a slope and those greens were missing the clown's mouth. I didn't think I could 3-putt more than the previous rounds, but I was wrong. We had 4 and 5 putting going on lol. Odd course with tons of bunkers and the par 5's were short, but with a few par 4's being longer.
83 today, only 2 double bogeys but not enough pars. Golf was easier in Florida, but I do like it here.
I shot 39-36-75 today at Giant Oak Golf Club in Temperance, MI. It was about 42 when we teed off, and made it up to 49 when we finished…..bearable, thanks to no wind to speak of. Started out in ear muffs, cart mitts, etc, but were able to shed those things by the back nine. Note to self…..start scheduling tee times a little later in the morning…..10:00 or 10:30ish! 0 birdies, 10 GIR, 32 putts.
I played today. About 50* when we teed off and it only warmed up a few degrees. It was CPO but we had no one in front of us all day so we got around in just over three hours. It started to sprinkle just as I pulled out of the parking lot.
I did take two mulligans, so I won't mention a score but I did get two birdies which is very rare for me. I was making a lot more putts than usual from the 5-10' range. I wish I could hang on to that.
Shot 91 in the North Texas Senior Golf League, which was good enough for 1st in my flight. It was a volatile round even for me, with 8 pars and 4 triple bogeys.
We played Tour 18, a course a lot of the members had never played before. Many of the greens are tricky, with some severe slopes, so the field got beat up. 
I got to play 9 today. I didn't bother keeping score. I also borrowed a buddy's clubs, as mine were at home for the last week. I played the forward tees, I was making good contact for not playing in a week, and new clubs. On the 1st hole, I flew the green with an 8 iron and ended up in #2 fairway. Hole 3, I flew the green again with the 8 iron. Hole 4, I hit the green with a 7, I first tried an easy 6 iron that punched through the breeze and promptly went ob. It seemed like whatever club I pulled, it was going further than I was used to. I tried his 4 iron, and for some reason I topped the 2 balls I tried. I pulled his 5 iron and was just off the green with a low fade on hole 6 from 200. On 8, I hit a 54° and hit the green just passed the hole. I dropped a 2nd ball to see if I could do any better. Same club, same green, 2nd ball flew the green. I played both, 3 putted for bogey on the 1st ball, 2nd ball was a chip onto the green, leaving a 10' downhill putt. I made the downhill putt for par.
I had some good shots, some bad shots, enjoyed the quick solo round. I need to get done with this project so I can go play more often. I miss playing, and it's only been a week.
