How did you shoot today at Golf
82 with 2 double bogeys. One guy won the 1st 6, another won the middle 6, I won the last six. All 3 of us hit our quota on the number. Zero $ changed hands. Nice sunny winter day.
46/46 yesterday. It was 40 degrees and overcast when we teed off at 8:00 am. It gradually warmed up to mid 50s and partly sunny, but those first few holes were cold. I think I only had 3 GIR. No birdies but a couple nice par saves. One was a 50 foot chip that rolled softly into the pin and somehow didn't go in, and the other was a 40 yard pitch to 6 feet that I made. Of course there were some bad shots, too, lol. I hit 2 balls into the creek on the last hole to card my only triple bogey. It was fun getting out, though.
Working indoor golf tomorrow 9-1 so I’ll be hitting balls all morning. Maybe a sim round if one is open.
Had a 4-some today in the fog/clouds. We had a tie on the 1st 6 holes, I won the 2nd, 3rd and the total by 2 strokes. Not sure what I shot, but I made 25 quota points. Close contest, but I'm up $4
Another round today where I didn't notice that my rangefinder was on M and not Y until hole 14. Could not understand why my irons were coming up 10-15 yards short. Stoopid.

Played in a 4 man scramble yesterday, about 60 guys showed up for our men's league year end finale.
The really cool part was our new Yamaha carts have the YamaTrack GPS.
It has a scoring feature where you can see every teams score in real time.
We played like crap, still had 8 birdies but 2 bogeys and finished in 3rd place, 1st flight.
Plus surprisingly only took a little over 4hrs. to finish the round!
Had the unexpected confluence of time off from work and beautiful weather, so I headed to our local muni to play 9. It was crazy crowded, as you can imagine; we don't get that many 65-degree days in late December and when pretty much everybody is off work.
The round started with a horrible shot but ended with an absolutely fantastic one. I missed the first fairway wide right by about 40 yards.
On the 9th hole I had 82 yards for my approach shot, uphill, with a left-to-right wind. I had been hitting a little draw witu my irons all day, and I thought that the wind and my little draw might offset about perfectly, so I took aim at the flag with my A wedge.
I hit it solidly and right on line. I said 'be the right club.' I saw the ball land very close to the hole and i thought I was going to have a tap-in birdie. Well, I wasn't sure, but it looked like the ball was still moving and it looked like it was less than a couple of inches away. At that point, I said 'Go in the hole!,' but not expecting that it actually would, but then the ball just disappeared into the bottom of the cup for eagle!
I have been playing golf for 54 years and today was the very first time that has happened for me! I was extremely excited.
It was also my second eagle of the year; I made a one-putt eagle at a short par four in Utah in September.
Forgot to add that the ball mark was about 15 inches past the hole; the ball backed up into the cup. I was using a ProV1, which I almost never use.

60* day here today and played a course I don’t typically play in the spring/summer months. Shot a comfortable 82 with a triple bogey 7 on the 10th hole.

One one of the par 5’s I had 190 into the green. I decided to use my newly acquired paradym 7 wood (I tried to choke down and hit it easier)
But hit an absolute piss missile over the green. Had to hit my next shot left handed due to being next to a tree. Hit two really good shots with this club today. Really happy with it! Thanks pappy @Par4QC
