Played outside today on home course.
Shot 43 on the easier side and 42 on the tougher for an 85 with 11 fairways hit , but only 4 gir's. 31 putts saved my ass. Forgot to say 2 birdies.
Another fun day 13 miles from the Ohio border in NE Indiana.
First round of the year for me at del Lago GC outside Tucson. Very nice course got a Golfnow deal for $46, a steal at that. Nice shape, fast greens, elevation changes. I shot miserable 90. Only hit 3 GIRs. I missed greens from 54 -82-100 and 106 yards before I quit paying attention. Drove it OK just nothing else remotely good. Absolutely gorgeous day though.
Another beautiful Missouri day. I fear we'll pay for it this summer. Sunny and 61 at tee time and 72 when we finished. The course was in the process of aerating their greens and four of the holes had a temporary pin out in front of the green. Just a flagstick with a circle around it so if you were within the circle, add a stroke and move on. My playing partner was aware of the greens being aerated but not the temporary greens.
Shot 46/42 which is good for me. Driver was pretty good again and shots from the fairway were better than last week. Putting was better too. Make several putts of decent length. Only one three putt, on the first hole.
Still CPO, got around in under 4 hours.
38/41 on a 'shorts' day. Wearing of and approaches!!
Had so many 1 putts I'll not even post the total, so embarrassing it was.
Cranked the loft up on the DARKspeed and it was much better. Then after a few holes I switched out the shaft to what I've been using in all my drivers. Huge mistake. All over the face and direction. Put the heavier, stiffer shaft back in after a couple holes and BANG! Center face and dead straight. Need to see if these shafts can be had for $12 shipped.
We had a beautiful day but extremely windy. Everyone got beat up. I shot 85 with only 3 GIR. Downwind greens were real hard to hit and hold. My fairway woods swing went real bad, costing me 4 or 5 strokes. The Mezz putter was great. No three putts and 6 one putts.

DonM nah, he's too busy playing 'moving company'...
When he's finally done with that he'll discover that the 'moving company' lost, damaged, destroyed all his clubs and he'll have to go find 6 new sets to get back into playing.

1 over on a day with 20-40 mpg winds. Finally made a few putts over 6 feet. One chip in. Feeling like under par is just around the corner as long as I stay retired and don't take another job. 
Played Crooked Tree in Tucson . Pretty nice course, absolutely great greens. All round nice conditions. Shot 88 . Only hit 3 greens, I suck.
Played river course with a buddy today. I didn't do so well today. My goal was double bogey and under. That didn't happen. I ended up with 3 8's on the card. 2 of them were on par 4 holes. 4, 7's one of those was on a par 3... I had a hard time getting out of a bunker on 17. I had 6 three putts, most of those were on the back 9. 6 two putts, and 5 one putts today. If I take a few of those 3 putts, and the 1 putts, and average them out, I could have only one 3 putt... all total I had a great day, for losing as many balls as I did, I put 2 into the drink, that hurt....

I had some nice shots, and some bad shots, it was a good day, until the back 9 and the pair of older ladies behind us kept nipping at out heels. I let that get into my head, and throw off my game... they never hit very far, they did have a cart each, and would hit and drive, hit, and drive. One hole they were less than 100 yards and hitting as we were walking off the green. Ball went about 50 yards on the ground. Was a little unnerving. I shall see about doing better next time!
Funny thing was I wasn't seeing my power fade much. I was seeing a solid draw, to a hook. It was different... I need more range time....
Par4QC From not working out seriously since Covid I lost muscle and it drove me nuts. Like you , I haven’t lost any distance. I joined my old pre Covid gym so there is a program and I’m looking to build up a bit again. Don’t think I’ll gain distance… who knows… I’m old. Not Rex old, but old. I’ve said before my goal is to not LOSE distance.
Cold day and a cold north wind, and CPO. Two holes were closed for flooding and one was turned into a par 3. Depending on what the USGA black box gives me for the two holes, I shot either 82 or 83. I hit one green with a 50 yard wedge, one with 6 hybrid, and 3 with fairway woods. None with irons, of course. 
Short game was good except when I had soggy lies. I was awful there. Birdied the 18th which is a very tough hole.
Local store has a used 7/8 iron Wedgewood for $35. I think I’ll buy it tomorrow. Alice Cooper here we go.
