Release Try buying a Hatchimal.....the toy in an egg. Stores sell them for $59.99(Black Friday was $48.88), but can't keep them in stock. They've sold as high as $200+ on Ebay...no shilling. They are going for over $100-150 on Facebook local sale sites.

People. Are. Fucking. Stupid.

I now see that ToysRus has raised their price to $79.99. Now, the stores are even scalping!!

ode My $6.88/doz. Warbirds from last winter are still the best ball for my game. Longer than any I could buy, for any price. And that's all I care about...distance. And if someone should tell me they won't spin, well then, I'd show them my wedge after I hit one, and the white rubber in the grooves!!

Did I mention the covers were shit??πŸ˜„

Release If you were the supplier to Kirkland Signature brand and the test market batches sold out within days , wouldn't you believe that you could negotiate a little tougher before agreeing to a long term deal ?

Again, I don't think Costco would bite. They know why they are selling out in minutes, and they also know if the price goes up(by very much), eventually, they will sit longer on the storeroom shelves.
I know if it was my biz, I'd say sorry, but NO deal. Prices go up, demand will always go down. At least for my wallet.

Wonder if Costco has a written deal on these balls, as far as patent or whatever. I ask this knowing that they got no idea about the ball's manufacture, as they defer any questions to the factory. I could see another company stepping in and taking these balls away from them, if there is no blood deal.

      Par4QC People. Are. Fucking. Stupid.

      You've said it, not I .... 😎

I was pretty upset when I did not do well in some of the "aptitude" test for job application 35-45 years ago. Now I understand they were not to filter out the dummies .

Corporate buyers from Costco are among the best in the business !
It's extremely difficult to get in on a Kirkland Signature brand.

It'll be very unlikely someone else would step in and take the K.S. branding from the current supplier. Since most of the golf balls were manufactured overseas anyway. What Costco did, was to go pass the retail and the wholesale , directly to the manufacturer for such a low price and able to get 15% profit after all the fees and tax from importing it.
Although, I'd think a lot of them wish the K.S. would disappear.

It's not a perfect golf ball for every golfer, but for the value, can't beat it.

I still prefer the Titleist NXT Tour better than their top of the line Pro V1, V1x and slightly edge out the K.S. because I get more distance off the driver with the NXT Tour. Too bad I can't get the NXT Tour for even $20 a doz. But, I get a doz. of Taylormade Project A coming for test drive next month.

Release I told my wife that these ignorant people, buying these items at prices no one should afford(even if they could), would be down knocking on Project Now's door Jan. 2. Needing help to pay their utility bills!! No kidding......I know some of these types, and when talking to them about it, all they can say is.... "I know, but....wow...look at that bunny".......

Release keep an eye on RockBottomGolf. They always have some great deals on balls. I've not bought any of their used, but when they get their hands on new logo balls, they are really cheap, and brands vary. I bought around 6-8 doz. last winter, the Callaway Warbird, and still have plenty for next season. I'll piss around and try a couple other brands/models along the way, but I never go over $20/doz.. Just no sense for my game to spend any more than that.

When Titleist started changing their balls every year, I got away from them. Used to play a lot of the NXT, which I also thought to be better than the ProV1. Now, they seem too hard. Could be old age, or could be their changes, but I stay away now.

Par4QC .I know some of these types

I ran into these more often nowadays. Had a guy whom could not afford better food on the dinner table, getting by from paycheck to paycheck but has a cellular bill at $240 per month; his phone plus his wife's and one other "idled" number simply because it's free. From Verizon which is the most expensive cell plan in our area. Could not get signal at my house..... however, has the roll over minutes of more than 7,000.
Why ? Pay for something you don't need ? Those rolled over minutes could not be converted back to cash and he has limited data and text.....
I almost wanted to tell him this, but held back... $240 x 12 = $2,889 per year. If he could save $100 per month then it's $1,200 he could have "extra" right now without having to work overtime for it.....

              I don't know....

If this was the main reason the K/S/ golf balls were sold out quickly because the Scalping . I give up, there is no hope for "these" on both ends of the table.

Par4QC Used to play a lot of the NXT, which I also thought to be better than the ProV1. Now, they seem too hard.

Try the 2016 NXT Tour, they are low compression and felt soft.

I wonder how long before we see KSig balls popping up at LGB? πŸ™‚

These days, so many email from different vendors, most of them advertising at a higher price line than the market.... I guess they don;t even research the market before they send out sales email to their client data base.

What it does is tire out the client's anticipation. No more looking forward to the "sale" notice. Kinda like the Taylormade killed off the anticipation for new golf club by speeding up the product cycle. They forgot that they are also on the hook.

Release so many email from different vendors, most of them advertising at a higher price line than the market....

I get emails from just about every golf retailer out there.....several times a day, esp. the past 3-4 weeks. DSG is the worst of the bunch. And no bargains from any of them! Best deal I ever got was from RBG. Email said $30...FREE. Not 30 off...over xxx amount, just $30 FREE. Bought a couple shafts, which were giveaway priced to start(Aldila NV Green 65) and only paid basic shipping. Other places give $50 off, over $300 spent! One discount car parts co. sends me 5% off. Over $300 spent. Where's the deals???? I'm not spending 300 for anything. I'm cheap/poor.

The box I'm watching on ebay just sold for $50. Somebody wants these badly. It's ONE dozen and $7.75 for shipping.

Lots of WRX posters saying they got there orders cancelled.

                  #xmas cancelled

                  Lol

It was a major PITA to order this time, but late last nite got a shipping confirmation for 10 doz. balls.
Seems some of the guys at WRX are just buying the balls to flip for a major profit on fleabay.
Who in the hell is paying $40-50 for a dozen balls worth $17?
These golfballs are good...... but they're NOT that good!
