sdandrea1 Emptied a can of WD40 on my garage door springs, rollers, tracks and hinges. Went from OMG loud to so quiet all I hear is the motor humming.

I need to do that...! One of mine is so squeaky it makes my skin crawl like somebody running their fingernails

Well, I get to go obtain a pallet of shavings for the barn. This afternoon, I get to go spend more time with my puppy.

Golf on TV, dog walk, fix a broken door handle, drain-clean-refill paddling pool (it's for the dog, he likes to cool his paws after a walk and the water was getting a bit scummy), more golf on TV and a football match on my laptop at the same time. Busy life ... need some food then walk the dog in the cooler conditions.

I got a pallet of shavings, 36 bags to a pallet, loaded them on the truck
and delivered them to the barn. I got a quick 9 holes in before I had to head to the boss's house and dog sit. In case you are wondering, I shot a 42. I did get complimented on my drive when I launched the ball 220 yards total 75-100' apex and it ended up about 20 yards from the pin, I did have the best drive on that hole. Not too bad, for not using my driver since Wednesday, just trying to not kill the ball.

meagain I don’t have a real sprayer. When I go to site one I’ll see if they have some kind of hose end sprayer that mixes while it sprays.

It has rained here every day this month so I can do anything weed related. It rains too quickly. I ran out to cut the lawn this morning. Started raining, did it anyway instead of waiting until I got out of work at 6. Good thing..downpours from 6 pm on. Next week forecast is rain everyday as well.

Typhoon My yard was a good 6". I've been having some young college track star do it, just to help him out, but he was working his reg. job today. Did the back in 1 pass, damn good mower, and it looks like a hay field. Don't care, no one sees it but me and neighbors behind. Did the front in a 4" & 2", an hour apart to allow drying time. Probably will need mowed tomorrow with all the moisture in the ground still; only quit raining 2 days ago. Next 10 days show no rain, so you have what passed through here, and have that to look forward too. Unless another hurricane stirs the pot.

Don't know how you could use the products without some type of boom sprayer to lay them down evenly.

I have a 3 gallon sprayer🙄. I have one small spot in the front yard to do. The back yard is loaded with clover. Last year being so dry the clover took over. I’ll end up just mixing it properly and doing sections. It’ll work, I just have to be patient because it’ll take a while.

And like I was saying, getting a day with no rain would be nice so I could put it down.

Early rise to get in the mood for the Open coverage, broken only by a dog walk. Sport the rest of the day with golf on TV and TDF on my laptop. Shame Cavendish missed out on #35 by a tyre width but a green jersey finish after 2 years out of pro cycling is something else, as is Morikawa's Open record - played 1, won 1 ...

Pencil bag and 12 quick holes after the presentation, home for dinner.

Not much on today, contractors turned up to finish off the conservatory then I took the dog for a walk. Too hot for both of us and most of his "watering holes" are dried up so we didn't stay out too long.

Golf_ghirl having a few aches and pains reccently so after a (telephone) consultation with her GP she's off to A&E for an ECG. Covid restrictions still in place so I wouldn't be allowed in and am just sitting here wondering where the insurance policies are 🤷. Kidding, she thinks her GP is overreacting as golf_ghirl's father had a couple of heart attacks by age 42, the 2nd one killed him.

Today, I got woke up at 1, had coffee and a bite to eat, the got on the road taking one horse to Petaluma for a horse show. Dropped that one and everything else that was needed for him and headed home. Made it back to the barn and turned two trailers around, then drove home where I'm currently laying in bed watching TV until I fall asleep...

Working my heinie off. Just took a brisk 15-minute walk to clear the mind and about to jump back into office mode. Between work responsibilities and my wife wanting me to attend to every last detail of the boy's college needs it is driving me into all kinds of worse habits as far as attending to my health.
