Rickochet I still have an Integra Beta Ti 450 that I put in the bag once in a while. It was my first titanium driver, deep faced, and I still hit it pretty well, although I've had about 5 different shafts in it. This was before they came out with the SoooooLong. I'd buy a SooooLong today, except for the ugly blue color!
What Are Your Favorite Ping Irons?
Say SooooooLong to the original topic.
Rickochet You must have gotten one of the crap ones
Unlike many at FGI and some here, I don't go half cocked after one bad experience, so there was more.
One visit at Cliff's custom club shop was an eye opener when I saw the large bucket of manufacturer returns for credit and there was at least half a dozen Soolongs in there, maybe more.
No other company had more than one head in there .
BTW, a Bang 450 was in there
The beryllium copper ones.

An old, old picture of them but they will be in the bag tomorrow morning. I try to give them some daylight a couple times/year. No better than I'm playing right now, they may stay in the bag for a while.
Took the Raptures to the range today in order to learn yardages, but the range was in quite a bit of disorder after all of the rain weβve had. None of the flags were anywhere near their normal yardage and so I still donβt have a clue. Looks like the regular graphite shafts and purple lie angle are agreeable with my swing though. After I stopped over swinging (took about 30 or 40 balls) everything was string straight along the point of aim.
Still the Eye 2 or Eye 2+

Still rocking the Raptures. Haven't ever hit any other model of Ping iron. Also been impressed with the G400 driver and 5 wood, which are the only other Ping clubs I've ever hit. Only have 4 non-Ping clubs in the bag: 3 hybrid, 54 deg. wedge, 58 deg. wedge, and putter.
