LBlack14 Legitimate question for you LBlack: Do you like to be misconstrued and assumed to be the prototype or poster child for some generalized group of people who display certain attributes? For instance, do you not think that we "liberals" might function within a range of 'liberalism' - some more liberal than other liberals? Or are you comfortable in being considered a far right wing, tea-bagger, kook? Perhaps the dialog goes a bit better with a few less F-bombs and dismissive, conversation-ending declarations?
I don't mind perspectives from folks who come from other countries or cultures. FGI used to have those members. Beyond that, candukid gave you a substantial and rational reply as to his and their vested interest.
Tinker Does that mean JFK and Bill Clinton's infidelity toward their wives and marriage vows is okay? Then, want the point of your apologist perspective. If you wanna run that route then you'll realize that JFK had one wife as did Clinton. Nonetheless, your "logic" that "guys like Trump...tend to be the most harmless" is just dismissive and insensitive. Ignorant men who treat women like chattel, who have positions of power are far from harmless!

LBlack14 yeah, I've heard worse, and said worse, but then again I'm not the prez, nor am I married. You seem to equate "fucking liberals" with all things said negative about the prez....but yet I hear it from all those "fucking" groups I referenced. Cool you don't like liberals, but they aren't the only people criticizing Trump. Re his comments, he said it, and folks are going to surmise that is who he is. I tend not to criticize Trump the way many liberals do as this is exactly what he wants, the names, the mental health diagnosis, racist, etc. It simply emboldens many of the folks that support him, many are sick of being told what they are or aren't. IMO they need to stfu and let the folks who align with him policy wise, do the criticizing, as it's not likely to stop. It's as if Trump supporters think he's above reproach! It's laughable.
Prof. I like to think I know how to talk and act in all company. I have been in as many bars and locker rooms as the next guy and heard talk of any kind you can imagine from both men and women. If that made them all dangerous I’ll never know but I doubt it. The left assumes it’s all true and tries( with the help of their biased media fanatics) to project our President a monster. It’s a sore looser grasping for straws mentality. I worked the polling place all day Election Day ( for a democratic mayor that I sopport) and didn’t see one Russian that I could tell interfere with anything. More sore looser crap.

If you look back, you said "fucking liberals", I didn't. I don't "hate" liberals, I can't understand the far left. I'm married to a liberal/democrat, we don't talk politics much at all. I have liberal friends (some, not many) who don't call our president everything, but a white man and we get along just fine. I don't believe I ever referred to the last guy in that fashion, I actually rooted for him the 1st 4 years. If our President fails, we fail and I certainly don't think President Trump is failing nor do I believe there should be a double standard.

I've been in many a locker room and have never heard anyone admitting to sexual assault. Trump's behavior is not normal. Nothing about this jerk is normal. Yet his supporters bend over backwards trying to normalize him.
He congratulates dictators and insults democratic leaders. For whatever reason some are drawn to his authoritarian, debasing, undignified, uncivilized, braggadocious, lying style. Where they see a qualified leader, I see a skilled con artist.
Don't get it myself, but to each their own.
Need to see more Flakes and Corkers to tell this would be Emperor that he has no clothes.
While his supporters cheer on this idiots behavior, his cabinet is quietly dismantling all the progress we made in the last many years. Just look at the EPA and Education Depts. for a glimpse.
This demagogue is doing a lot of damage that is going under the radar. 2020 can't come fast enough. Could it be Uncle Joe will be the one to take this con man down?

Well, he did allow sales of weapons grade uranium to go to the Russians, sent huge volumes of cash to the Iranian government, and normalized relationships with an oppressive Cuban government. (Whoops! - my mistake. That was a different president). I must admit that I haven't paid much attention to the crotch grab stuff, but what I've heard is that he said something along the lines of when you're rich and famous women will let you get away with that. If it even happened, sounds like it was consensual and not assault as you are describing it. Crude yes, assault no. I know Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones, and Kathleen Willey said it was not consensual (oops. Sorry - that was a different president also. However, his wife said those woman were liars anyway, so it doesn't matter).

If you think it's alright for our POTUS to be 'captured' speaking in that manner about women, ask yourself if it'd be okay were he referring to your mother, your wife, or your daughter. It's 2017. You misunderstand. I did't say you are and didn't suggest you are. I asked the question if you're comfortable in being referred to as such. Given your response, seems the answer is "no". You then proceeded to suggest "you guys" again, just reinforcing your tendency toward broad brush generalizations.

Sneakylong You are the one that resents the fact that the president might have something nice to say about foreign dictators. I was just pointing out to you that at least he's not cutting deals with them as the former president did. I didn't hear any audio of an assault. I heard an audio of the president saying that women allowed him access due to his fame and fortune. You somehow have turned it into an assault. Also, no one is excusing president Clinton's behavior. Just pointing out once again, you are worried about Trump acting crudely as though it is something new, when he's been better (so far) than many former presidents in that regard. Is there a cover-up I haven't heard about with Niger? No one's been making the rounds in the press trying to blame a film producer that I've heard of. And if there was a standoff in which some support could have potentially helped those killed, I haven't heard about it. I don't know the details, but what little I've heard made it sound like an ambush, not an ongoing firefight in which potential rescuers were ordered to stand down.

Saying a renter doesn't pay real estate taxes is like saying that you didn't pay for the wheels when you bought the car. The cost is included. Just because it's not itemized for you to see nice and pretty, in black and white, doesn't mean it's not included.

When I was growing up, kids (and I'd presume adults, too) weren't taught to lie down and be a victim. If someone was messin' with you, you either ignored it because it wasn't worth your time or you did what needed to be done to stop it.
