I'm hitting the driver well enough that I'm going to try another 47 inch experiment.
Kuro Kage 2nd Gen A flex
Cobra F7 with all 3 weights removed if need be
JumboMax Ultralite "standard jumbo" 35g grip
I just need to get going and build it.
We have generous fairways and I'm hitting 77% of them. So if I can get 10-20 yards like I did the last time I tried this, it could be very good. My current drivers are 1) M4 stock Atmos Red A flex at 45.75", and 1A) M4 with KK 2nd Gen R flex at 45". I put a JumboMax Ultralite on the 1A and I'm hitting that thing farther than the other combo. With that grip it weighs 25 grams less than the first driver. Basically an ounce.
I have quit trying to hit up as much as I was, and am finding the center of the face a lot more often. That could be part of the story too. I'd like to think I'm still level or slightly up but I am not sure.
