garyt1957 Par4QC what averages? I showed Koepka hit down on driver, that's not an average. You saw Rory is hitting a short driver, that's not an average. I listed other guys hitting down or shorter drivers, those aren't averages.
You said pros don't hit down, if they AVERAGE 1* down obviously some hit down.

Yup, don’t kill Rex! there are some guys that play shortened drivers, butt 44.5 isn’t really short…43.5 is. The stuff I have to learn, a lot of them hit down or level… also nobody mentioned they tee the ball down low for this and they don’t play very far up in their stance. Too much spin is just as bad as too little spin. Another thing, these guys loft clubs up and down for face angle and spin so if DJ uses a 10.5 head, he’s not playing that loft on the course. A lot of Rory’s FW,s are lofted down 2 degrees etc…
