Gas Prices, am I right?!
$3.15 in SA a couple days ago.
Running 3.39 to 3.49 around here lately for 87 octane.
Still $3.99 after 5 weeks. Waiting for the 'winter blend' to hit the pumps.
$4.05 at some stations around Pittsburgh...Just an aside - Saw a blurb that said if Keystone XL Pipeline hadn't been cancelled they would have begun pumping 900,000 gallons of oil per day from Canada to Texas Refineries this month...
We are still bouncing between 3.15 to 3.35.
Diesel just under 4 bucks.
$3.64 here. A lot of stations in the area are $3.79.
BJs $3.09 with member discount. $3.24 for regular schmucks.
$6.39 in SoCal today.
No free lunch. I'm guessing taxes foot most of the bill for those 'freebies'

"As we’ll hear today, the United States subsidizes the fossil fuel industry with taxpayer dollars. It’s not just the US: according to the International Energy Agency, fossil fuel handouts hit a global high of $1 trillion in 2022 – the same year Big Oil pulled in a record $4 trillion of income.
In the United States, by some estimates taxpayers pay about $20 billion dollars every year to the fossil fuel industry."
Tax payers are getting hit from all sides. We pay the taxes, politicians dole out all of it, and whatever they can borrow on behalf of the tax payer for votes, kickbacks, campaign donations.
