bigshank fortunately, I don't pay a lot for the fuel I burn. That gets passed off to those who have me driving for them. Fortunately for me, when it's just the truck, I get pretty decent mileage. The way I do fuel for when hauling horses, is I use the lowest mileage I've ever gotten on the overhead display with a trailer. That was 10 mpg. I use that to figure out how much fuel I will need to make a trip somewhere with a trailer. If I haul the trailer one way, and I've quoted/ got fuel for both ways, I have 'spare' fuel. I also get better mileage than 10 mpg with the trailer. I make sure that I have enough to get to where I need to even with any detours.

Typhoon wtf is right... last I saw it was $6.20 at the place I normally go to. $6.30 most every place else.

$3.15 in SA a couple days ago.

Running 3.39 to 3.49 around here lately for 87 octane.

Still $3.99 after 5 weeks. Waiting for the 'winter blend' to hit the pumps⬆.

$4.05 at some stations around Pittsburgh...Just an aside - Saw a blurb that said if Keystone XL Pipeline hadn't been cancelled they would have begun pumping 900,000 gallons of oil per day from Canada to Texas Refineries this month...

We are still bouncing between 3.15 to 3.35.
Diesel just under 4 bucks.

$3.64 here. A lot of stations in the area are $3.79.

BJs $3.09 with member discount. $3.24 for regular schmucks.

DC300 how on earth does the average person afford to live in that shit show?

Free government handouts at every opportunity. $20/hr minimum wage. Free education. Free healthcare. Ran into my gardener while running around town the other day, he was driving a much nicer car than I could afford.

Sparky ree government handouts at every opportunity. $20/hr minimum wage. Free education. Free healthcare.

"As we’ll hear today, the United States subsidizes the fossil fuel industry with taxpayer dollars. It’s not just the US: according to the International Energy Agency, fossil fuel handouts hit a global high of $1 trillion in 2022 – the same year Big Oil pulled in a record $4 trillion of income.
In the United States, by some estimates taxpayers pay about $20 billion dollars every year to the fossil fuel industry."

Ack8236 that peanuts compared to the agricultural and “green” initiatives. Still utterly absurd, but not at all surprising.
