Now the network uses Tirico as their spokesman in the negative ad campaign against the LIV.
Good grief, stick to golf, idjits. Not helping your look at all.

Spuzz 🤣 You thought the network was not going to get all political.......funny man.
And it matters not Tirico's thoughts about the situation. He will say what he is told to say. (btw, can't stand that man)

Par4QC You thought the network was not going to get all political.

No, I expected it and I expect the puppet master to continue his Howdy Doody ways.

Just stating it's a bad look and "nobody wins" (advice of their own that they should take)
      :/
      Edit:
I will now add I hope the US Open winner, when prompted post round interview with "what's next for you?" looks right into the camera and says "I'm gonna start LIV....ing now" or something similar.

Spuzz A lot of talk about how the LIV guys were going to be a distraction to the beloved U.S. Open, and who has been doing all the 'distracting'?

          Par4QC
Interesting, but PGA Tour reaction would probably be same as they have done to Trump owned courses…Not play there…Plus, I doubt they could get a majority of members at the private clubs that hold the Tournaments to agree to sell out to the Saudi’s…

and this is precisely why I added to my last post.
As I stated before, no reason to pick a side, but the PGA execs and their minions are making it difficult not to..

It tells me that there is a lot more to the supposed "rumours" and the floodgates are opening.
The DP Tour allowing LIV players into the German Open may be another indication there is no point in putting sanctions and suspensions on the players. They may end up with "weak fields" every week, instead of playing "against the best".
            Just a Spuzzmusing or two.
            😉

            Eguller Like Pumpkin Ridge.

The pro left, but how many members have left too?
This could also be a hint as to whether your statement may be true or not
            (I don't have the answer)

DonM What’s the over/under in years for existence of the LIV tour?

As long as the Saudis want to put up money for the attention ( or nobody wants them on their course).
As I hinted earlier, some things are just not for sale. JMO

This thread is going to get 1000+ posts? I haven't even opened it in a while. What is left to say? 🤣

DonM What’s the over/under in years for existence of the LIV tour?
              I’ll say 3.5.

Generous. I'll give it 2 UNLESS the PGA Tour loses a shitload of players.

              🍿

No comment about Nicklaus designing a course in Riyadh. Hypocrisy is an interesting thing that hypocrites never understand. Hard to understand why people care so much, the PGA Tour has always had players comment about the lack of transparency and now some moved on, they are bad guys.

Bravopilot Hypocrisy is an interesting thing that hypocrites never understand.

                Profound.

Of the 4 majors all but the Masters has qualification rounds that anyone who meets the qualifications and pay, can play. Now if these 3 don't somehow come up with a rule that won't accept an applications from someone who is playing on the LIV, these players can play themselves into three of the majors.

I would think resigning from the PGA nullifies any post suspensions that the PGA handed out.
