Charles Barkley on PGA Tour players taking LIV Golf money: āIf somebody gave me $200 million Iād kill a relativeā
āI donāt judge other people. Listen, if somebody gave me $200 million Iād kill a relative,ā Barkley joked before doubling down. āIām serious. Theyāre saying Phil Mickelson got $200 million, Dustin Johnson got $150 million, for $150 million Iād kill a relative, even one I like.ā
Just a thoughtā¦What if the Saudiās just purchase the DP European Tour and open their arms to PGA tour members??? Do you think that would cause the PGA Tour to reconsider their sanctions on players playing LIV events???
Iād look for more than a close alliance between the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour in the near term. JMO
Now the network uses Tirico as their spokesman in the negative ad campaign against the LIV.
Good grief, stick to golf, idjits. Not helping your look at all.

Par4QC You thought the network was not going to get all political.
No, I expected it and I expect the puppet master to continue his Howdy Doody ways.
Just stating it's a bad look and "nobody wins" (advice of their own that they should take)
:/
Edit:
I will now add I hope the US Open winner, when prompted post round interview with "what's next for you?" looks right into the camera and says "I'm gonna start LIV....ing now" or something similar.
raggmann54 What if, instead of buying tours and players, they were to start buying up the golf courses the PGA plays??
Par4QC
Interesting, but PGA Tour reaction would probably be same as they have done to Trump owned coursesā¦Not play thereā¦Plus, I doubt they could get a majority of members at the private clubs that hold the Tournaments to agree to sell out to the Saudiāsā¦

Par4QC A lot of talk about how the LIV guys were going to be a distraction to the beloved U.S. Open, and who has been doing all the 'distracting'?
and this is precisely why I added to my last post.
As I stated before, no reason to pick a side, but the PGA execs and their minions are making it difficult not to..
It tells me that there is a lot more to the supposed "rumours" and the floodgates are opening.
The DP Tour allowing LIV players into the German Open may be another indication there is no point in putting sanctions and suspensions on the players. They may end up with "weak fields" every week, instead of playing "against the best".
Just a Spuzzmusing or two.
raggmann54 Plus, I doubt they could get a majority of members at the private clubs that hold the Tournaments to agree to sell out to the Saudiāsā¦
Eguller Like Pumpkin Ridge.
The pro left, but how many members have left too?
This could also be a hint as to whether your statement may be true or not
(I don't have the answer)
Whatās the over/under in years for existence of the LIV tour?
Iāll say 3.5.
