Par4QC DLlll was about as big a choker as they come. Not interested in the opinion of a guy who has no chance of getting an offer from LIV anyway. I can respect the opinion of Justin Thomas because at least you know he could have gotten a big offer. Nobody is offering Love anything so it's easy for him to poo poo it.

garyt1957 yeah, that's something I'm not understanding about Norman. Why hasn't offers been made to the top tier guys? Yet. Give them a chance to show true colors, and stupidity. Their Daddy might well beat their asses though for even thinking about it. If Mommy doesn't.

I suppose selling a product to them is the same as being their employee/waterboy..... or
    as in the progolfweekly article:

Gotta love the false equivalencies here. Cause selling shaving cream to Saudi citizens or John Deere tractors to farmers in SA is the same as being a de facto employee of the Saudi Arabian government.

Par4QC Can't run - too many skeletons in my closet. Only good thing for me is that it was all pre-cell phone cameras! Been pretty clean since that era started 🤨

Global economy. We're all connected. It's too easy to find a tie to some country we "don't approve of" and play the hypocrisy card. Hell, we're all only 7 degrees away from Kevin Bacon!

Now, I’m really rooting for one of them to win … if only to see how the telecast will avoid showing any of them “in any TV featured groups”. Could make for memorable coverage … all the way through the award ceremony.

Yea. I'd like to see about 5 of them in the top 10 on Sunday just because of the pettiness.

I'm really surprised to see Cam Smith go now that the PGA has suddenly upped the purses and become LIV light. Maybe he had already signed a contract earlier and was stuck? He's a big loss for the PGA , very likely the biggest so far, as the dude had personality and a likeability factor. Sort of John Daly without the baggage.

garyt1957 that the PGA has suddenly upped the purses and become LIV light.

As I said before, and after reading about Cam's one on one with Rory, I will double down on it:
there's a lot more going on behind the scenes than just the money, in spite of what the tyrant Monahan and his mouthpieces have to say. All is not as rosy as it seems.

            Same here.
I actually hope Poulter or Westwood win, against all odds.
I thought Pelley had come to his senses, but apparently not.
he's still hanging on to the "alliance" agreement, even though he's the only one adhering to it.
            Pelley:
but, but, we had an agreement!
            Monahan:
            No soup for you!

Sneakylong I found this to be the most interesting part of the article.....

Until then, the LIV players will be able to participate in DP World Tour events and earn points toward Ryder Cup qualification, according to Tuesday’s memo. The European Ryder Cup qualification process for next year’s team begins at the BMW PGA.

A lot of points could be had by players that may later (Feb.) be banned. Or, what if the court holds in favor of the players, which would be a huge concern for the PGA?

I keep waiting for the "media rights" issue, which was central to Phil's initial squawk, to be addressed by someone exiting. I think the treatment already displayed, given to LIV player's trying to gracefully and amicably exit, has scared off any comments/explanations (else media squelched?). Easier to say "no comment" than take the full brunt of a piling on.
