Super League Predictions

Now, I’m really rooting for one of them to win … if only to see how the telecast will avoid showing any of them “in any TV featured groups”. Could make for memorable coverage … all the way through the award ceremony.
I'm really surprised to see Cam Smith go now that the PGA has suddenly upped the purses and become LIV light. Maybe he had already signed a contract earlier and was stuck? He's a big loss for the PGA , very likely the biggest so far, as the dude had personality and a likeability factor. Sort of John Daly without the baggage.

As I said before, and after reading about Cam's one on one with Rory, I will double down on it:
there's a lot more going on behind the scenes than just the money, in spite of what the tyrant Monahan and his mouthpieces have to say. All is not as rosy as it seems.

Same here.
I actually hope Poulter or Westwood win, against all odds.
I thought Pelley had come to his senses, but apparently not.
he's still hanging on to the "alliance" agreement, even though he's the only one adhering to it.
Pelley:
but, but, we had an agreement!
Monahan:
No soup for you!
Sneakylong I found this to be the most interesting part of the article.....
Until then, the LIV players will be able to participate in DP World Tour events and earn points toward Ryder Cup qualification, according to Tuesday’s memo. The European Ryder Cup qualification process for next year’s team begins at the BMW PGA.
A lot of points could be had by players that may later (Feb.) be banned. Or, what if the court holds in favor of the players, which would be a huge concern for the PGA?

I keep waiting for the "media rights" issue, which was central to Phil's initial squawk, to be addressed by someone exiting. I think the treatment already displayed, given to LIV player's trying to gracefully and amicably exit, has scared off any comments/explanations (else media squelched?). Easier to say "no comment" than take the full brunt of a piling on.

That is what made me think Pelley came to his senses.
This too:
Donald (who shot his mouth off) now has 6 picks for the Ryder Cup so that could mean a door open for LIV guys to be picked if they don't qualify.
Of course, it could also mean that qualifying will be harder and the likelihood of not getting picked is easier for Donald.
lol
Who knows? Unlike the Presidents Cup which the PGA Tour owns, they have no controlling interest in the Ryder Cup. The PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe administer that event. And I would think any U.S. court decision would have no bearing when the Ryder Cup is played in Europe.

Poulter has already complained about it, after the last event.
He was blackballed from the TV coverage for the most part, and when he requested any footage there was, he was denied.
That's petty BS to me.
No footage means no Sponsor exposure= no off course money
He may as well wear his own non logo clothes like the rest of us.
I would slap some shorts on if it were me.

How does a player accrue Ryder Cup points without being able to play the tournaments? Granted, they all wanted to play less, so they should never complain about missing the Cup teams. It's just to be a 'bitching' point for all, PGA/DP Tour/players.

They can't. But as long as the temporary stay by the U.K. arbiter is still in place they can get points by playing (like in the upcoming BMW Championship in London). The DP World Tour doesn't have a clear punishment like the PGA Tour does.
They tried to stop them earlier, but it was blocked by the U.K. arbiter. So until that changes they can play in Europe and get points.
Sneakylong But, but, they will have to play more.
Yeah, integrity was in short supply when hearing them say one of the benefits playing for LIV was playing less.

Gary Player has a change of heart at least with Cam Smith joining LIV. Lol
Par4QC Push comes to shove, Miguel and Ernie will be on his teams!!
I guess it depends on how bad you really want to win doesn't it?
Unless the petty BS is more important than the lip service they are spreading regarding how much they care about the event overall.
There aren't 6 viable picks to be made that would "improve" the team's chances if excluding the LIV guys, imo.
