Par4QC that our parties throw literal billions into campaigns,

The money they throw away is ours. They are all getting richer by the day. We are the one's that are literally throwing our money away. The Saudis are re-investing their oil profits.

Sneakylong But, there are reports that things are getting much better in that country, so maybe this is their 'boost' to make it faster.
Let's say in 2 years we see their country has done a huge turnaround, how will people look at them then?
Already know the answer.....just look at the talk here about things from 150 yrs. ago, still causing problems. Like slavery, for ex..
It won't matter to a lot of people what they do there, they will always be 'bad guys'.

Mattyv I will go with Brooks not wanting to play all of the events.

When you watch Brooks, it seems he doesn't want to play ANY events. 🀣

Sneakylong I wonder who will be the first LIV player to say 'I don't want to travel all around the world playing in all the required LIV events'. What will their punishment be for violating their agreements?

Since they are employees of LIV, I assume they could be fired. Then what? Sue them? πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€‘

As an Independent Contractor, I have had at the same time more than 1 active contract. Doesn't mean I'm an employee of any one of the companies. My obligations doesn't stop me from having multiple clients at the same time. If I don't perform, no pay, maybe no contract. And yes I sign an agreement not to share info between clients.

Some will say it isn't the same but as I see it, it should be.

Worked with many independent contractors when I was with AT&T. The independent contractors had to adhere to the same rules employees had to adhere to.

Businesses are allowed to have rules. Break them and you suffer the consequences. Pretty simple.

The 'want their cake and eat it too" is also a BS analogy.
Hypocritical at best, but not surprising, given the sheep doing the bleating.
Every Euro based player that left that tour to play the majority of events (or even 4 times more) on the PGA Tour, but still remained a card carrying member Euro member (made easier by the revision to 4 mandatory tournaments only and also keeping their Ryder Cup eligibility) is a member of the "cake and eat it too" group.
The only difference is the amount of money at LIV being more than the PGA Tour, and special invite.
Reeks of pettiness and jealousy to me, and nothing more, with big mouth Rory being the poster boy.

European Tour has no problems with letting players play both theirs and LIV. 1 of them is leading their tourney today. Shame on him. πŸ˜…

Spuzz … but, would Rory be opening his mouth at all if not being paid so handsomely by the PGA? They have to be getting something in return for his 1 hour of work per week position on their board, don’t they?

Stu1961 Yeah, they get to write him a check for $40K every week. Privilege.
When he turns 40, he'll realize he can't live off that, and seek employment elsewhere. πŸ˜„

Par4QC When he turns 40, he'll realize he can't live off that, and seek employment elsewhere.

Yes he will head back to his "home" tour and continue his legacy....of missing the cut at the Irish Open
          bwahahahahahahahahahahaha

Here's some more hypocritical BS from Jay's beyotch Rory:

Apparently he took two weeks off and did not touch a golf club, nor did he eat healthy.
His family was more important than anything else.
First round of the Fedex "be all and end all, cake eaters wanna be here" tournament and he's 9 back already.
Must be nice to be so rich that you don't give a rat's ass about it, yet, shoot your big mouth off about others.
          Here's a sign for him:
