The 'want their cake and eat it too" is also a BS analogy.
Hypocritical at best, but not surprising, given the sheep doing the bleating.
Every Euro based player that left that tour to play the majority of events (or even 4 times more) on the PGA Tour, but still remained a card carrying member Euro member (made easier by the revision to 4 mandatory tournaments only and also keeping their Ryder Cup eligibility) is a member of the "cake and eat it too" group.
The only difference is the amount of money at LIV being more than the PGA Tour, and special invite.
Reeks of pettiness and jealousy to me, and nothing more, with big mouth Rory being the poster boy.

European Tour has no problems with letting players play both theirs and LIV. 1 of them is leading their tourney today. Shame on him.

@Spuzz figured it out. See his "Kermit" post.
sdandrea1 yeah, saw that and was offended by the language and denigration. Thought Canadians loved all.
Here's some more hypocritical BS from Jay's beyotch Rory:
Apparently he took two weeks off and did not touch a golf club, nor did he eat healthy.
His family was more important than anything else.
First round of the Fedex "be all and end all, cake eaters wanna be here" tournament and he's 9 back already.
Must be nice to be so rich that you don't give a rat's ass about it, yet, shoot your big mouth off about others.
Here's a sign for him:

azgreg TW is bringing a printout of his bank deposits, to reinforce the fact that one can become a billionaire on the PGA Tour.
Surprising that after the huge self-inflicted damage his account took, he has almost come back to that point.(net worth $800M)
LIV has passed the deadline with me. Screw them.
Par4QC You can't fool me. You probably used them as leverage to rework a deal with the Social Security Administration just like Sir Charles probably did with TNT. οΈ
johnnydoom SS was a tough go, I admit. Best I could do was nearly lock them in for +$153/mo. starting in Jan., + not raise Medicare more than $152. That way they can save face with a 'raise'.
Par4QC I "like" your post from a humorous point of view, but I will be facing the same reality soon.

I wonder if he will divulge his insider knowledge of how not to get suspended for off course "shenanigans"?
Seems the rules for me but not for thee guy showing up is a bit hypocritical.
Of course, the entire PGA Tour and their minions' reactions are all hypocritical aren't they?
Spuzz Would have been an interesting discussion topic had TW not been tied for most wins on PGATour. Would he jump if he have 83 wins?
Bravopilot Would he jump
I doubt he would jump, regardless of wins or whatever.
He's been treated differently than the rest his entire time on tour.
Having him come down from his ivory tower to preach to the slugs about how great PGA tour life is, is hypocritical and also tone deaf.
Tiger may be as beholden to the PGA as they are to him. If he had 5 wins, he would have been turfed ages ago.
LIV has gained popularity due to the Tour's disgruntled employees, and not all of it is about money, in spite of the PGA narrative.
