DonM Why do I still try to play irons?
That's kinda funny, to me anyway. I haven't played much at all this summer, but I did go back to some irons (#s) I haven't hit in a lot of years. Always used the hybrids for some shots that others would think wtf is he doing? IOW, I got very lax with using hybrids all the time. So I started putting more irons in the bag and pulling them whenever I would normally use a hybrid. Last 3-4 rounds, it's worked fairly well. And I do love the hit off an iron more than any hybrid, much straighter. I even have a 6i in the bag for next round, whenever that may be. Those 7i shots last round have given me delusions of grandeur!!
The game just isn't challenging enough some days 🤣. Got to 'change it up' some times.
