Rickochet That was my favorite ball last summer. I just can't seem to hit it anywhere this season. I am going to try some geezer compression balls next.
I found the Snell MTB-X as long as anything out there with lower spin off the modern driver and would still play them but need a softer lower compression ball to use with my persimmon woods.
As club head speed drops the difference in certain balls is not as appreciable and many with lower club head speed don't see the gains that higher club head speed golfers do. Hence why you see various opinions as to distance. I still found the Snell MTB-X a very low spin ball off a modern driver head. My short iron/wedge technique doesn't impart as much spin for a urethane cover to take advantage of.
