2021 PGA Championship

Phil outclassed the rest. Brooks and Louis were the only ones who had a realistic chance to test him. Brooks had a brief glimpse but faltered quickly. His play on the par 5s was abysmal. Louis could not get hot with the putter. Gonna be interesting to see what Phil can do at Torrey.
I noticed Lefty has some kind of zen-focus routine (on the greens) that's new. He stands there and just moves his head from ball to the hole and back a few times.
A question - how does Mickelson's win compare to other unexpected late-career majors?
In my mind, it's not up there with Nicklaus in the 1986 Masters or Woods in the 2019 Masters, but it's not far behind, and probably ahead of others (Ernie Els - 2012 Open, Hale Irwin - 1990 US Open are a couple of examples that come to mind).
I thought he was "slow playing" Brooks a little....i.e. gamesmanship!
Par4QC If Phil can drive this well for 4 days, maybe we should all be getting the latest Callaway head. Gotta be the driver
Its funny how there does not seem to be much talk of Phil's 6 deg driver at 47.9". When Bryson was just talking about this setup, there seemed to be tons of talk about the "mad scientist"

Bryson could take a lesson from Phil about being less talkative and letting his results speak.
