Fish I think if we wanted to give hand outs, we could have looked at something like they pulled way back in the US and offered jobs to those who would go out and plant trees on state land, etc. I’m not going to chase this down the rabbit hole the way I want to, but there is absolutely no reason we could not have used this situation to better the infrastructure with the man hours being supplied by those that needed work. We could have kept people working, paying them for actual benefit and improved the country instead of sending everyone into hiding.
The pork barrel bullshit that has been allowed in all of this, goes to show that no matter what side of the isle politicians claim to be on, they are all just pawns to the new mob and launder money to their masters. This country is about to implode as the last 3 generations have been taught to live the life of luxury without the grit to earn it. No offense to our neighbors in the north, but we are almost as damn stupid and weak as Canada at this point and it’s only getting worse.
