Club review thread
I've got 2 heads getting tested this week. An Innovex I got from @LBlack14 and a Big Bang I got from @Rickochet. FGS Ultralite 45 shaft will be tested and reviewed as well.
Can’t wait for the Big Bang review! That was always a head I wanted waaay back when.
Rickochet if he still wants it, he can pick it up off @sdandrea1 in a week or so...

Soooooo, I demo'd some new-to-me stuff today. Summary below:
Bang driver is HOT faced. Hard for me to hit straight. Medium trajectory (even tho it's 12 degree), and roll out was REALLY good. Low spin maybe? Sounds good feels good. Fade monster for me, though.
The Innovex head was meh. Loud, easier to hit straight but not as hot as the Bang. Less distance and roll out.
Both heads had the new FGS ULtralite 45 in A flex in them. This shaft is a SLEEPER! Get one.....hell, get 3 and put your favorite heads on them! I can't tell you how surprised I am at the weight, feel, and flight. It's $30 ferkrissakes!!!! PapaD's new favorite shaft!!
Played the IsI Nickel today with the stock ZZ65 steel shafts. My new favorite irons! I was thinking of reshafting to graphite or lighter weight steel, but my MDLT swing changes have me on a better path and damn if stock steel doesn't feel good again. We'll see about long term wear on the body by the end of the week after 3 full rounds with steel.

If with MLDT centered swing ball position mid and push /fade make sure your ball position is really centered. Try dialing the face closed a smidge see what happens change nothing with the swing ala Trish club face video of dialing face to hit draw or fade.

Couple things... were you worn out from the Ping irons? Sounds like it. Don't give up on it. Try it again. If its still fading try a shaft change. Its a 12 degree hot faced driver... give it a chance. That shaft might be too flexible

I'm shocked that I'm not tired at all! The PING irons don't feel heavy on this swing path I've got going. I'm going to carry the Bang tomorrow along with another driver that I trust on tight holes. I only carry 9 or 10 clubs anyway.
Literally, a 'holey' grail PING putter that you should review.
Initial impression on the ACER XDS REACT hybrid irons. Only got 6 holes in, but will be gaming them tomorrow for 18 in a team event.
- Sound and feel is solid. Better than the Integra i-drive version. These have MCS 70 graphite, trimmed to A.
- Leading edge is out in front of the hosel. Takes a little getting used to.
- Stupid easy to point and shoot high straight shots. This genre of club can just be thumped into the ground behind the ball and if you bottom out at the right spot, a great shot results.
- Twin rail sole is Cobra-like. I can't tell if it acts any different than a smooth soled I-drive version.
- I hit the 45 degrees PW about 90-95 yds, the 50 degree AW about 75-80. 41 degree 9i went about 110.
- Standard Hireko- recommended length is 8i 37.5", 9i 37", PW 36.5", AW 36.5". I built them to that spec, did not measure swingweight (because I don't care) and they feel just right.
- Chipped a few shots with the A wedge with nice results.
The only thing keeping these from being in more better player's bags is looks, ego and brand/shape snobbery. They really are like cheating.
