Bravopilot Didn't you make this call once for this club? Too many posts to search but believe you did once before.

Probably. If so, I'm calling it again.

Eguller 'OMG, this diver is great, I gotta tell everyone'!! Says people just now discovering the Mavrik Max.

Yeah, OK sure. I'm getting used to reading 'Rex is so full of shit', so no problems with everyone NOW discovering something I told them about last summer.

Last summer, remind you.....and what do you think I played today(besides 455DB), and last round?

Last summer!!!..... You know how many years ago that was, and I still have this same driver???
    It's. That. Good.

Par4QC everyone NOW discovering something I told them about last summer.

What did you say ? When ?... 🀣

It's all in the proper shaft fit, but it is very good and preferable to the standard Mav for me anyway.

sdandrea1 I have that combo 10.5 with tensei blue r flex. It met its match today I think. My first round with G410 plus had impressive results

In my old LD days, I did full insertion. But now, I only do 1.5”. Works for me.

In my younger days I did full insertion but now I do less. Just a geezer thing I guess. 😞

I have a feeling this Tensei is the difference maker. The head is excellent in feel and distance (and ez to hit straight), but this shaft........ wow!

wishbone hahahahaha. Maybe this thread is about turtle sex. In......... Out............. In............. Out...........

sdandrea1 I have a feeling this _________ is the difference maker.

Hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!! That should be the opening line in ALL your club reviews😁.

colej I always fully inserted the shaft on the 455. If I were to do it all over again… 1.5” just so I could use the shaft in other heads. Too much tip prep when you fully insert

              16 days later

10 holes today with a demo Callaway Rogue ST Max (not the "D"). Set it on 11.5, Draw. Stock shaft, 5.0 Forty. Basically I could repeat my Maverick Max review except for the sound/feel. The Rogue ST Max has a thinner, tinny-er sound and feel. Flight, distance, ease of hitting straight is all typical modern Callaway. PapaD approved. I'll have to give it back next Tuesday......we return to VA on Wednesday.
