I hit a few shots with @Bravopilot Black RBZ reissue. Terrible feel and flight. Gotta be the shaft. He also loaned me a Cally Rogue which I'm pretty sure I'll love.

Bravopilot I trust you are going to fix the TM before returning it?

It's an AWESOME driver for somebody. πŸ˜‰

Picked up some new toys and took them out yesterday. New Cobra FMax offset driver. 40g A flex 10.5 and a Cally BB21 5W A flex. They're both rockets! The Cobra is very straight-to-draw-ish and the Cally (slightly offset) is easy to launch off the turf and is a great driver sub. I think the Cally's face might be hotter than the Cobra.

I forgot to mention that before I ordered my Honma XP1 driver, I got to demo one. It is very XXIO-like in that the club is very light and the R flex shaft is more like a senior. I suspect the 43g shaft is hi torque as well. Solid feel, Draw bias and as long as THE XXIO Prime. Honma reduces their prices SIGNIFICANTLY on new old stock. I have not seen XXIO do so.

sdandrea1 Understand, I keep telling myself they are all unlike what I have, luckily, no wife to say otherwise. You buying new though does cause me to take a harder look. Doubt you buy new and walk it over to PIAS on Thursday.

If I didn't already own a XXIO Prime 9 driver I'd try this one. I did look at the fairway woods and hybrids. They only go to 5 hybrid (no 6 or 7) so I guess that will keep me from buying them (thank God). I did look at the irons but without a full set 3-7 hybrids, they won't do it for me either. Looks like I'm set for the year (so far) with what I used the year before last.

sdandrea1 Using Rockbottom's 25% coupon, I recently ordered the Honma driver and 3 wood for $300 shipped. I thought it was great value for 2 nice Japanese clubs. My only minor complaint so far is the adjustment mechanism, which must have been designed by engineers who don't play golf.
