Bravopilot already started

Must take several months for things from up North to move SSE!!
Then again, I live across the border from Iowa. They started there before you-know-who became the ex.

propman In my opinion, a CEO should not be making 360 times what an avg worker makes.

I doubt anyone disagrees with you, but that seems like a totally different issue. A CEO can be overpaid and the employees can still be well compensated.

propman A uaw worker ( on high end) makes $6x,xxx.

My two BIL's that worked for Ford and GM made way more than that. both had multiple years of over $100K. Overtime adds up at $45-$60 an hour.

johnnydoom Other than a slow starting Georgia team, the SEC kind of looks like garbage so far this year.

Glad to see Bama have a down year, or three. No offense to any Bama fans here.

garyt1957 I did a bit of reading about this strike today. I'm finding out some of these workers are just 'temp' status and that can go on for years. They only make '+/- $18/hr.' with no benefits. ( not sure if they are allowed to join union as temps though). They have odd shift hours as stated by 1 worker that she gets off the 'overnight' shift at 5 a.m.. Also, the 'tiered' pay is nothing short of bullshit.
I also found out all the workers have no pension plan any longer; 'taken' away back in '08(iirc).

Strikes were/are to serve a purpose.... as are unions. They, unions, came into being for better working conditions, & hours. It was not about the pay. These days, it is all about the pay as that is 99% of what is always mentioned in print or interviews.

The workers should be striking. But, about 80% of them have no clue about it all.

And they are striking against the wrong entity, the companies.
The companies did not 'take away' anything in the form of pay/benefits. It was the f'king union 'giving back'!! And when it comes to unions....they are ...entities!!
As a former UAW member/union official, I've seen the shit they blame on companies, when it is their own doings.

Yes, you may consider this post a mea culpa.😉

garyt1957 I do, if people don't like it, they can buy the company set their own standards, and accept all the risks. Non-risk takers are all talk

        Rickochet Knockers Up

Dr.Demento radio show used to play bits of that song.

When I was around 11, I used to play my Dad's records in the summer when I was stuck inside and he had a Rusty Warren album, and also the famous George Carlin album.
