At daughter's house near us, one bathroom pipe has already frozen up this evening. I mean it happened fast. It was in the low 40s this morning. But the north winds came in hard today.

Didn't end up with much snow! Temps started to dip late yesterday morning with wind. -9 with -35 wind chill. Expect my puddle jumper to turn over. Gotta go man the fort today as I doubt many will venture in!

Hard to tell how much snow we have....the wind is blowing so hard that the snow has blown all over the place.
You can see grass peeking through in some places though, so I guess there might be an inch or two at most.
That's good.....and we still have power...that's even BETTER!!

Just north of Pittsburgh it is 2* with winds at 17 mph equates to wind chill of -17*...It's cold outside, snowing and blowing and roads are icy and snow covered. I might venture outside by maybe March or so...

-8/-34 here. Been that since around 5 yesterday, and never went any lower overnight. I was still up at 3 and was holding steady.

Looked out the window around 7:30 this morning and saw the neighbor out shoveling his drive.
He doesn't drive.
He is in his mid/late 80's. 😲

Guess I should go back up and see if he's 'laying down on the job'....so to speak.
