How did you shoot today at Golf

Par4QC 3some today on the tee. I notice on our opening par 5 the people in front of them are 50 yards from the green. Guy with an awful swing standing on the tee. His friend in the cart says to him, “I dunno, they might be far enough away.”
I said to them both, “are you kidding me? It’s a par 5, they are almost on the green … they are 400 yards away. Can you guys see ok? You won’t get to where they are in 3 shots.”
He then hits… God awful swing, ball gets low heeled dead left off a stand of trees 30 yards “ahead.”
Once again I walk back into the pro shop shaking my head.
I had a great round but a weird one. Shot 75 with no birdies. 15 pars and 3 bogies, it was fairways, greens, two putts, over and over. I hit 13 greens and took 34 putts. Recent swing changes are working.
I had a lot of decent looks for birdie, 15-20 feet or so, but just couldn't make any. I could have easily shot a personal best if I had made some putts. I had my first 3 putt in 74 holes. That has to be a record for me.
I think our team got our money back, pretty much. The B and C players really struggled, and the D player and I did well. The D player M-F'ed himself after every stroke. It's ridiculous. The guy is about a 20 index and he expects to hit great shots every time.

Got out for a round after a 2 week hiatus.
41-43 at the home course yesterday from 6590 yards. Had 6 birdie opportunities and didn’t make a single one of them
10 pars, 4 ea. bogey & 4 doubles.
3 of the 4 doubles were due to being left off the tee box and in tree trouble…I continue to be an idiot by trying for too much on the punch outs …the fourth double was a superb downhill lie skull out of a par 3 green side bunker that flew over the green and past the OB stakes
The reshafted Pinhawk PDI shined on a few holes yesterday…much better results built to 40” with untipped @LogicalOne 85S…195’ish carry on the solid strikes with good rollout afterwards…straightest stick in my bag right now when I need it.
I shot 38-40-78 today at Stone Ridge GC in Bowling Green, Ohio. The tough Arthur Hills course was in great condition, and I played one of my better rounds (2 over on the front, 2 over on the back through #17), only to dump
one in the water and double bogey the @#$&*% 18th hole. It's the #1 handicap hole, and I butcher it up every other time I play there...... Anyway, 9 GIR, 0 birdies, and 32 putts.
I feel your pain. Was 2 over on the back on Sunday heading to 18. Tripled 18 after dumping my tee shot in the water that only required less than 100 yards to carry. Came right over the top of it with top spin. My re-tee only cleared the same pond by 10 yards after I hit the same shot almost!!!

I was having iron issues the last month. Lucky to find a green. Over the past 5 days I worked it out finding the flaw. Played our front 9 today and it was all fixed. Sorta suprised that I played so well actually .
Shot a -6 28. And parred the last 3 holes. Accuracy was great but distance control was a key. It’s was weird to pull off shots the way I pictured and have a good result.
Made an eagle 2 on our par 4 3rd hole by holing it from 80 yards. Funny thing is I hit the shot exactly where and how I wanted to hit it.
Every putt was inside 15 feet. The last 3 pars were makeable birdies and the other par 5 I lipped out the eagle.
It was nuts.

88 with 44 putts, also couldn't chip. Only missed one fw but c'est la vie
Beauty course though set on an island with a 10 minute boat shuttle. If I had an extra $300k would join
Typhoon That happens at our course. They have 2, but one doesn't have the metal plate and you can usually tell which 9 was done with which.....except when they don't use the plate with either hole cutter.
Cracks me up because for 2+ seasons now they have been using new hole locations to let the standard pin locations heal.
Par4QC That's the case everywhere. It's the reason you see, on TV, the ball rolling perfectly and then just stop at the cup.
Check this out.....
