3rd straight 76....39/37. Same course.
Used the 3rd different set of irons and 3rd different driver(s).

And it took me an extra 1.5 hrs. 🤬

Shot 40/44......84 yesterday. Driver is getting worse, but wedge game is getting better. I 3-putted a few times as well, but everyone did. They had the greens slick for a big tournament and then tucked all the flags on slopes. The pins on #10, 11 and 12 were brutal. We had to play behind the tournament and it wound up being almost a 5 hour round..uggh.

I feel like I should be shooting high 70's, but can't seem to stay focused for more than 12 of 18 holes. Maybe I need some of my kid's ADHD meds.

37/40 today at Shipyard course on HHI- Green tees @5203y. Nice Bermuda turf with aerated/sanded greens. The greens rolled surprisingly well. Played with the vintage PING travel set. SWMBO shot 48/47. Her putter was ON (she's usually around 100-105 in a new course).

Big fat stinker for me yesterday as it was just one of those days. You know the days of putting where even your good putts find a way to miss and the shots I hit perfectly managed to just miss the green - had several shots that I hit exactly the way i wanted but the end result was not good I always say its better to be lucky than good and I had no golf luck yesterday. Having said that, I have had many day where I thin approach shots and they end up working out and mishit putts that find the hole because the read was slightly off - its a funny game for sure

-3 for 9 today. Poor off the tee direction wise. A lot of left rough and low. The regular flex Paderson is either feast or famine. I think I’ll give it amd the SIM head a rest and take out the Qi10/Diamana that I have yet to hit. I have a few scrambles with a friend of mine coming up in a month so worst case I take the G400 max.

But today I used the i500 irons again. Really hit them well, even the 3/4 wedge I hit on the last hole. Had one sort of crappy swing and it still was on the green.

After a round where I could do no wrong played like dog poo today and nothing was working but the driver....42/41 , 1 shy of my high score for the season at my course from said tee box .

Typhoon hahahaha. Probably is, and I'm cutting it way down. I'm normally hitting a shorter club than MOST of the guys I play with, most of the time 2 clubs shorter.

Delayed update- Played last Wednesday the Rookery in Rehoboth Del on vacation. Course was in great shape. Shot a 47 on the front (which is good for me!) with a memorable Eagle on hole 3, a 300 yard par 4. Drove the green with a drive my GPS had pitching at 280. Based on the pitch mark and where I ended up, it had a look on the way by the hole. Had about a 50 footer slightly down hill but relatively straight and I holed it.

The rains came as we were on 9. We took a 25 min break in the clubhouse while the worst of it came down. Played the back 9 in the drizzle. Shot a 55 for a 102.

Jelopster Eagle on hole 3, a 300 yard par 4. Drove the green with a drive my GPS had pitching at 280. Based on the pitch mark and where I ended up, it had a look on the way by the hole. Had about a 50 footer slightly down hill but relatively straight and I holed it.

87 - which is not a bad score for me. Had 14 par or bogey holes with a string of 5 pars on 2 - 6. Shot 41 on the front, 46 on the back. My new ball is the Wilson 50 Elite. A Buzzer sent me an assortment of balls to try last week and that was one of them. Good off my driver and irons. Not a lot of spin on chips and pitches, but I suck at those anyway. Ordered more to try from Amazon and played them exclusively - losing only one. Expect them to go out of production any day now.

Got out for 9 today. Very humid, very little wind (for a change).
Played hlt and cold. My irons were just slightly off for the first few holes. I couldn't figure out what was wrong; they just didn't feel crisp.
As I went on, though, they got better. Had reasonable birdie looks on 6, 8, and 9,but missed all of them. Tap-in pars are nice, though.
Driver warmed up over time, too. Had good drives on 7, 8, and 9. Really wished I could have had time to play the back 9. I think I would have had a chance for a pretty good score.

I shot 39-37-76 today at White Pines Golf Club in Swanton, OH today. Beautiful weather....high of 80....no wind to speak of. My back finally seems to be coming around thanks to Physical Therapy. No birdies, 9 GIR, 30 putts.

Couple under par, didn’t make any putts. Missed one green. And on that made an amazing flop shot on the short side to a downhill pin…. Tap in. Amazed myself on that one. Driving was poor again until I realized I needed to slow down and then was ok. Swing it like my irons… dummy…

75 ugh ... Pissed away and even par or under round with missing a bunny for birdie and not getting up and in on two easy chances just off the green. Solid ball striking all around. Pulled one tee shot that just caught the left trees and dropped straight down and cost me a stroke.....other than that had clean looks into all the greens.
