I shot 40-42-82 today at Bedford Hills GC in Temperance, Michigan. It was warm (63*) but windy today, but when you get a 60 degree February day in Ohio, you better take advantage of it. I ran out of gas a little bit on the back nine, and my back started tightening up, but I managed to finish with two good pars.....had a double bogey and a birdie thrown in there also on the back nine.

78 at Tarpon Springs. Had one birdie. The only skid mark came on #18. 18 plays uphill to the green. Roasted my drive down the middle. Had - 140 to the back where the pin was.

Flushed an 8 iron that was a little left of the flag. Get up there and one of the guys in the group behind the hedges on #1 tee box came thru the hedge and said my ball was on the tee box.

So I waited till they teed off and pitched my ball back over the hedge onto the green. But then proceeded to 3 putt for a double. A little nippy this morning. 45 degrees when we went out at 7:00. The sun came out which made it more comfortable.

42/43 today. A good round for me. The front was more consistent, 3 pars, 6 bogies. The back nine was inconsistent, 5 pars, one bogey and three doubles.

The forecast had been for rain this morning, but it never rained and by the time I left for the course the rain was out of the forecast. When I got there, there were about 4 cars in the parking lot. The guy in the pro shop said we had the only tee time booked for the whole day! Temp was around 60, mostly cloudy and some breeze. With nobody out ion the course in front of us, we got around in 3:05 and it was CPO. Even when we finished there was only 15-20 cars in the lot with several guys just playing cards. If only all my rounds could be like that.

My 8 iron rolled thru the hedge behind the green. Not over (or flew) the hedge. Lol

44 at Banff Springs (2-ship simulator league)…and this is after hitting it in the water 3 times on the same hole…think Tin Cup…

My 41 at Sea Island GC last week seemed like a much more enjoyable virtual round 😁

Bright side…we are still in first place by 5.5 points going into the final week before playoffs start…if we can hold on to 1st after next week’s round it pays out $250 to us…might just pay for some of my Ho’ing lately 😳😂

I’m playing the team game today, my first round since Tuesday’s disaster.
And I just had a lesson.
      What could possibly go wrong?

DonM Remember my thread.. think Target. You haven’t had time to work on the lesson at the range so don’t think about it.

Typhoon Actually I had a good range session yesterday with the swing fix.
So it’s damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.

          Until the first bad swing.
          🤪

DonM Until the first bad swing.

Then, at the turn, you race to your vehicle to change out the bag; you came prepared this time!! Because you know the 'cause'.

            🤣

I changed irons after the warmup. Not joking. To have flatter lies. It really did help a lot.

83 with 8 greens and 32 putts. Definitely a moral victory.

Short game was very good. Didn’t make much in the way of putts.
Flatter irons kept me in play. Now on my regular irons I have to undo the upright adjustment I just made before I took my video lesson. The lesson work has me making a flatter swing.

                DonM 🤣

I've done the 'swap at the turn', it's why I posted that.
But, it wasn't for a reason of being PO'd. I had 2 sets and wanted to try both out quickly.

Then of course, sold both. 😲

99 in the senior golf league on Wednesday. Started with a quadruple bogey 8 on the first hole. I stopped spraying my drives right after 3-4 holes but couldn't do anything else well. The greens were absolutely terrible. Bumpy with clumps of poana grass in the dormant bermuda.

Shot 47/33 today. That 33 was not -3, lol. Two holes in the back 9 (a par 5 and a par 4) were under repair so converted to par 3s. But I'll take even par for 9 holes any day!

What a tale of two 9s. Two gir on the front (both 3-putts) and 22 putts. Seven gir on the back, one birdie, and 16 putts.

Shot 85 at Providence GC in Davenport FL yesterday to start our trip. 39 on the front but reality on the back.
