Nice playing in those conditions!! We're playing tomorrow in low 40's temps 😞.....not exactly "my cup of tea" at my age, but I'm not ready to quit for the season, so we'll see how it goes.

Not my favourite conditions by any means but our season is rapidly coming to an end so any day that I am not working and the temps are above freezing is in play now.

No. I've played very few private courses. The NTSGA rotates each week to various public courses in DFW.

83 at Tarpon Springs. First off the tee just before sunrise. 53 degrees with some wind. Tarpon Springs is an old (built in 1927) style Florida course. Stand on the practice green and you can see several holes.

40-39-79 at Giant Oak Golf Club in Temperance, MI today. Cold and windy today, so played with stocking cap,
rain pants and cart mitts between shots for the front nine. Finally got up to 47* sunny and windy by the time we
finished. 7GIR;s, 31 putts, no birdies......glad we played though; we had the golf course pretty much to ourselves
and had a great time.....even was able to hit the ball pretty well considering how bundled up I was. Hopefully, it
will warm up and we'll have more seasonable temps next week.

Played my first indoor round last night. Played the Italian Ryder Cup course. I used the name Marcelo for the round. I used my Stealth Plus driver and demo TW 7 iron/DG S400 Tour issue. The rest of the clubs were the other guys Mavrik irons with regular flex elevate 95’s

74 today on The Meadows (handicap slayer round). Team won 1st and I got BOTH closest to the pins. I was booed out of the Tiki Hut after the round (they love me, though).

Walterjn Ya know what’s funny is I just heard about Tigers “Simulator Tour”🙄. Boston has a team… nobody from Boston, I think it’s tour players though. But I’d be right there for that.

Thank you Walter. You're way too kind. Seriously, the courses here are very friendly (scoring-wise) if you are accurate off the tee and sharp with the short game. Two of us shot 74 today (par 70), and our lowest hdcp player typically breaks 70.

44/40 for 84 with 37 putts and 9 GIR. One birdie and one double. I had 21 putts on the first nine. Some of the 3 putts were from long distance but whatever. Irons were just lousy today. I am going to get busy on a steel shafted set.

I played today for the first time in a month. A beautiful but breezy day. I started out great, 6 pars and 2 bogeys on the first 8 holes. I started think that I might have a chance tp break 80 for the first time ever. Of course, the next 2 holes were terrible. I ended up with a 42 on the front. I ended up with 92 which is about average but it was disappointing. I only missed one fairway all day but it didn't feel like I was getting much distance.

CPO started November 1, so the round was a bit slow.

Typhoon shit, see what requirements there are... if you have to apply and tryout, I'd think you'd be good to go. Rangefinder might not work too well there.. 😂

Today I played river course at the alisal again.
It was a good day, and I've had a fun time.
52/48-100. I started solo, and on the back 9 I joined a pair. Turns out they started playing about a year and a half ago. We just had a good time, and cheered each other's good shots. He is from LA, and she is from the bay area.

Did anyone catch Kuchar’s horrible finish yesterday? That was me today. On 15, 16, and 17 I went +7. I hit OB and penalty areas on three straight full swings.

40/47 for 87. We played a few hundred yards back of my usual combo. Only 5 GIR. 30 putts with no three putts. The steel shafted irons were solid but I didn’t know the yardages. I actually hit over a few greens. They fly high but don’t seem to spin much.
