On vacation in Branson, Missouri. Today I played Buffalo Ridge. Fantastic, beautiful course! Requires the A game, though, and today I brought the C-plus game, for the most part.
Extreme elevation changes, a ton of deep bunkers, a lot of water. Greens were lightning quick and had a lot of slope. Four-putted the ninth green; can't remember the last time I did that. The pin was up on a small ledge. My first putt didn't quite make it up the ridge; that led to the ball going back down about 60 feet. At that point, I had to hit lt hard to get it atop the ridge or the same thing would happen over and over. Ran it about 10 feet past the hole. Coming back, if you hit to hard, it runs out to 80 or 90 feet again, so I lagged it and got out of there.
46-43, 89. Given the difficulty of the course, I'm ok with that.
Playing Payne's Valley on Wednesday. đź‘Ť
