Went around 3 times yesterday, I didn't keep score on the 1 round, and played with a couple of buddies on the 2nd where one of them did, and I forgot to check my score. The 3rd time, it was a buddy and I, he kept score and I shot 5 over for a 34. He shot a 33, he also has been playing for 4+ years and carries a proper handicap. I'm becoming more consistent on the little course, my bad rounds are staying in the mid 40's, while my better ones are staying in the low 30's.
EDIT:
I just remembered that on the 2nd round, 3rd hole, I got off to a bad start. Shanked my 7 iron tee shot, ball hit a tree and ended up on the tee box 20' in front of me. My 2nd shot put me 20 yards further ahead, my 3rd put me pin high to the right of the green, I managed to skull the chip over the green. My 2 buddies are both just off the green on their 2nd shots, and I'm now looking at a triple. One of them walked up and pulled the flag as I'm lining up my 2nd chip, as he makes it back to his ball, I take my swing and watch as my ball hits the gree, bounces twice and rolls in for double. My buddies ask if it went in and I'm laughing at the absurdity of it as I tell them yes, I'll take my 5.
