I played yesterday evening, went around twice and didn't bother to keep score. The first time around I didn't tee up except on the longest hole. It was starting to rain by the time I got to the first green. I seemed to be hitting the ball a little fat, I also tried to stand closer to the ball. When I did that, I was able to hit some beautiful draws with my irons, I will just have to remember to aim further to the right when I do that. The second time around, I decided to tee up every tee box. I didn't hit anything fat,, and the draws were much stronger, probably closer to a hook. Pulled out my 5 wood a few times, didn't hit a draw, that one went straight and closer to 220 carry. It was a beautiful flight, I pulled it again on the longest hole just to see what I could do there compared to my driver. My driver takes more than a few shots to get it going straight. My 5 wood seems to be straighter straight from a cold bag. When I pulled out my 5 wood on hole 6, I hit a beautiful high shot that I ended up losing in the sky after it cleared the trees. I ended up finding it after teeing off on hole 7, my ball was in the rough just off the tee box. I was quite surprised by that. It was very enjoyable to play in the light rain and failing light, pulled out the light up ball for the last 2 holes, bogeyed 8, and par on 9.
