Hole #16 when I played it last and thankfully parred it. Hard to recognize it without the stands, isn't it?

    amazing how they can turn a boring, easy , unremarkable par 3 into one of the most talked about holes in golf

    i still prefer the Champions course to the Stadium , conditioning might not be as good . When we played the Stadium in 2019 they had closed it for a couple months just prior and it was the best shape of the several times we have been there

      One of the perks of being the banker, too! We don't get tickets without clients willing to go. I've been the invitee to two US Opens (both at Oakmont) and the inviter at three Presidential Cups, when they were held at RTG in Manassas.

        I've been to Scottsdale more times than I can count (inlaws live in Grayhawk), but I only went to that tournament once and it was mid 90's I think. I played the course back then too, but not since. Once my inlaws joined a club we stopped golfing all over. It is amazing how much that place and tournament have grown since then.

        Rahm's 272 yard 5w just now was fantastic.

                    Spieth is awful. Kidding around this afternoon at the club he had 125 to a green from the fairway. Shittin around I said, " how much he misses the green". Everyone laughed.... he came up 20 yards short.... and then has that "“blame everything else on world except me" look on his face. 125... to the middle... from the fairway... 20 yards short.... I know he shot 67 but wtf
