I agree with a lot of the comments, but I thought this week's episode was really quite interesting, especially when they showed the actual manufacturing steps in the making of a driver. Also I thought it was cool that they took the prototypes and actually went out and hit them, and they showed the numbers. They also had golfers with different swing speeds and abilities hit them. If they had spent more time on that segment it would've been even better, but I found it interesting.
I DVR it so I can fast-forward through the crappy parts.
As far as getting a conforming head is concerned, the newbies were almost immediately sent to work with seasoned designers that work at Wilson, and all the computer modeling was done pretty much by the experts. So Wilson knew that they would get a conforming driver because only the basics of it came from the newbies actual design; the tweaking was all done by pros.
