Hence, the heavily discounted green fees around town. There are quite a few $10 round with golf cart....... Never seen this kind of discount in the last 30 years. Maybe the golf course management had finally smart up and realized there would be no recovery and no tomorrow if the tee sheet has empty spots. A highly perishable commodity if not managed well.
I'll bring my smart phone for football updates. If I have LBLACK14 golf cart I could bring a big screen TV. BTW every other shopping cart at Costco yesterday had a big screen TV in them. I though the Super Bowl was this week...... ended up the warehouse is having a 10 days black Friday deal . $238 for a 40" HDTV ? Sub $1000 for a 60" ? Very tempted , indeed.

Livegolf, do you subscribe to Links magazine? That's a good place to start when it comes to golf course architecture. From there you could move to books. But Links is my favorite golf magazine, and it's not even close. It's the only one I still get.

Somebody explain to me why my pictures keep posting upside down. They're right side up on my computer. I even rotated one so it was upside down thinking it would post right side up, but no good.

You will need to save the photo to a file and then "save" the change after you rotate the photo before you post it.

        Release

Yea, I've done that. They show up fine on FB and anywhere else. Just here they show up upside down?
The picture above for example I had to rotate sideways to get it to post right. Crazy.

Strange ! At least you had the solution now.
BTW That was not you in the last photo ?

I don't, only golf magazine I pay attention to is golfstyles which details some Mid-Atlantic courses. I'll keep an eye for that one!

            Grass bunkers replaced the sand.
Yes it was snow cap on the mountain in the back ground.

Uphill approach on #7....a Nicklaus feature on several Holes where you cannot see the green on the approach, several more where you can only see a portion of the green-

The Bull at Pinehurst Farm in Sheboygan Falls, WI

            http://www.golfthebull.com

It is a stones throw from Blackwolfrun Run in Kohler where they had the women's US Open (the original 18....now broken up into two courses Meadow Valley and The River; they do have play on the original 18 in the fall).
