Course Pics
I'm just a course picture nerd, wish I knew more about golf course architecture
"Generous" is being generous. LOL...
I thought you played pretty well for not having played the layout before, with it being windy and cold especially. I've played 200 rounds there now and still get my ass kicked by those greens on occasion. It doesn't help that they're so freakin large.
The grain is very prominent there too... uphill putts are slower than they look, and downhill putts can be pretty treacherous.

Beat the cold front which is coming in later this week.
Super saver $10 including cart.
Snow fences went up this week in preparation of our first snow, starting tomorrow. This is overlooking the 6th green and clubhouse from my deck. Beautiful 9 hole course in a small community and hopefully I will get to start playing it next year (still recovering from neck/spine surgery).
livegolf very humble of you to say , but reading your reviews proves you're much more, ie. prolific traveler, a comptent observer , writer, serious student of the game, and photographer. Nice work , to say the very least . I particularly enjoyed the write up for Tot HIll Farms. Makes me want to go back for another go at it, maybe even try Tobacco Road once more, memory of being beat up so badly by it has dimmed a little now.
LBlack14 Nice tee photo, looks like it's just wanting a big O John Daly drive!
As I mentioned earlier in my previous post, the snow fences were put up. And this is why.......

LogicalOne Now I can really feel Christmas is coming soon
My phone been flooded with text and email message since yesterday.
Today will be WASU vs Colorado Buffaloes both team are 8-2, WASU is fighting to get #5 ranking.
Also HOME GAME UW Husky vs.Arizona State SunDevils to firm up the #4 ranking.
Tomorrow is the HOME GAME Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Hence, the heavily discounted green fees around town. There are quite a few $10 round with golf cart....... Never seen this kind of discount in the last 30 years. Maybe the golf course management had finally smart up and realized there would be no recovery and no tomorrow if the tee sheet has empty spots. A highly perishable commodity if not managed well.
I'll bring my smart phone for football updates. If I have LBLACK14 golf cart I could bring a big screen TV. BTW every other shopping cart at Costco yesterday had a big screen TV in them. I though the Super Bowl was this week...... ended up the warehouse is having a 10 days black Friday deal . $238 for a 40" HDTV ? Sub $1000 for a 60" ? Very tempted , indeed.
Livegolf, do you subscribe to Links magazine? That's a good place to start when it comes to golf course architecture. From there you could move to books. But Links is my favorite golf magazine, and it's not even close. It's the only one I still get.
Somebody explain to me why my pictures keep posting upside down. They're right side up on my computer. I even rotated one so it was upside down thinking it would post right side up, but no good.
