candukid Not what I was getting at. I've seen today alone, where she is being referred to now as Indian/American. I've seen her described as Black/American, which I think is a new category. Her father was from British Jamaica. Mother from India. Just how many groups are going to 'claim' her.....and what does she say about it?
I don't care if the person is tall, short, fat, skinny, bald, braids, black, brown, white, mixed, blind, deaf, male, female, both, neither or whatever the fuck. Never did, never will. But you cannot be in all categories, just to appease a 'group'. Be 'your person'.
