USPS sucks

Walterjn I've been lucky as hell with shipping. Never had any real problems through the years, and only 1 package was ever lost completely, and that was going to Ireland.
I mainly use UPS now as it's quicker for the most part of U.S., but never ship out of the country any longer....$$$.

Me too, but the trend might be over. I sent a shaft from KY to OR on the 9th. One update sayin it left KY on the 9th and on the 13th it was running late. It still says running late and no updates since the 13th. A Spuzzervation would suggest that USPS sucks donkey balls.

Rickochet Always use this when any package is on the 4th day. I have done it several times. It's like a postal worker's laxative...gets their asses in gear!!! And works every time, usually next day delivered or at least found. You should hear something back within a few hours.

And just an FYI for the future.....NEVER ship anything USPS during December. Live.....learn.....
Update: The shaft I shipped from KY to OR on 12/9 finally updated tracking. As of 12/24 it made it to Lexington, KY 30 miles from my house. Dang, 30 miles in 15 days. Nice, eh?

I've been using PirateShip/UPS GROUND exclusively. Solved all of my outgoing USPS problems.. Shame I can't control incoming.
sdandrea1 Agree.
Sent a small box via Pirate Ship UPS to east coast, taking forever to arrive and now in Nashville so will get some weather delay
Day later, sent club to Canada same process, it shows arriving day before the Driver head to east coast. I assume Canada has customs rolled in and still arrive before.

It made it to Knoxville today.
sdandrea1 Inching along
Bravopilot Inching along
Now add in the storm. The mules don't do well in the snow and ice.
sdandrea1 Noticed box arrived in Roanoke and instead of making a right turn direct to you it went north to MD.
Canada scanned it in, so small progress.
Bravopilot Canada shows arrived with photo of front door and UPS shows in the town for VA

It's in Fredericksburg. Let's see if they can find my house.

I made an Ebay purchase from a vendor in China shortly before Christmas. It shipped and cleared US customs in 10 days. Great. It is now 30 miles from my house and being transferred from the shipper to USPS. Probably ShartPost and it has been at that facility for 4 days now. It is probably going to take longer to get it the last 30 miles than it did to get from China and clear US customs. I guess they toss all of the ShartPost boxes in a bin until it gets full then harness up the mule.
I bought 2 custom made items exactly alike from China before Christmas. I had one sent to my son in Houston, he got his on Dec 31st. only 12 days after ordering. Yay!
Mine went the Shanghai, to Anchorage, to NYC, to Avenel NJ. UPS picked up in NJ, sent to SC . It has been in Rock Hill SC UPS for 8 days. says its being transferred to USPS for delivery. USPS says its waiting for the transfer. Total shipping time is now over 2 weeks. I even got an email and a txt from the Chinese manufacture that said they are asking UPS "WTF". They also sent a discount code for my next order.
At least its my B-Day and the drinking is about to begin!
