sdandrea1 They were higher and did not recognize the box. However, they are easier to use.
USPS sucks
Bravopilot did not recognize the box
Let me see if I can explain this properly.....
Those triangular tubes do have 4 sides/dimensions.
Looking at the end of the tube, you see 3 flat 'sides'.
The 4th dimension is the flat end of the tube.......measure from the flat bottom to the ^ point at the top.....in a straight vertical line.
Typically, the 3 flat sides are the same. So, when asked for the dimensions....measure length + 1 side + the vertical.
And you are good to go!!
BTW...this not 'The Rex" way....it is the USPS way.
Geezus, it's not that difficult.
Par4QC thanks for this, I actually used the dimensions on the box. USPS did not like but the "tube" is on the way
My Mom sent our Christmas gifts via USPS, signature required. Today I found the package sitting on the porch with the box damaged with a "We Care" note attached to it. The box was completely empty.
A club I bought shipped on the 4th. Delivery is currently "delayed" with no estimated delivery date available...

I sent a package KY to Oregon on the 9th to be delivered on the 13th. No tracking updates since the 13th and it just says it's late and on the way. I took some flat rate boxes to the USPS today and chatted with the USPS clerk and she told me that there are several of the larger USPS sort centers that are totally jammed up.
I just noticed no mail to Canada due to a strike there. Fire the mother fuckers. And fire the striking Amazon workers affiliated with the Teamsters. I wonder if they remember when the air traffic controllers went on strike and Reagan fired every single one of them.
USPS at it again. I was late getting some packages out to the grands and mailed some small flat rate priority boxes on Fri. the 20th. One was going to the Boston area and was showing delivery by the 23rd. It went from my PO to Lexington 30 miles east. Then the next day to Louisville which is 50 miles west. Today it back in Lexington again.. So much for getting there by Christmas.
3 flat rate boxes sent out on the 20th from KY. One to Minneapolis, MN, 700+ mile, one to Boston, MA, 700+miles, and one to Waddy, Ky 30 miles away. Two were delivered yesterday, and one just updated tracking to show out for delivery. Guess which one is out for delivery. Maybe Elon can fix the USPS.
