USPS sucks
Par4QC my guy retired ~ 5 years ago....he was great. The new gal is not far behind and willing to help if I have a question and I catch her! Of course that's only on Saturday as she's rolling through here 10-noon. The previous guy it was like clock work, 10 a.m. within a 15-30 minute window. That's changes a little, but no complaints. Super friendly too!
Dam if I didn't get another text notice today from Fed Ex telling me that my package arrived and is ready for pick up and will be held 5 days.....I PICKED THIS PACKAGE UP MARCH 10TH......AND THIS IS MY 3RD NOTICE ABOUT IT THAT I HAVE A PACKAGE TO PICK UP!!!!
Hell even the Fed Ex store told me they were having problems with their system for weeks!!
Go pick it up again. Maybe you got two!
1 day makes a big diff with the P.O. apparently. Of those 13 boxes, 6 are now out for delivery today, as far away as WA, CA, and WV. Others are showing within their destination areas.
Whereas some of these were showing as still at the local hub yesterday, methinks USPS tracking is a bit screwed up, esp. locally. Or, those that are supposed to post such are. But, I thought everything was digitally scanned and automatically entered in computers.

12/13 boxes were delivered by the expected delivery date; over 1/2 were delivered a day earlier than stated! 1 is still out, but is in the destination city. I sent out 6 Tues. and some were delivered today. Not a bad week for USPS.
Hoping Congress/Biden moves on DeVos and the others, as they are planning/working on now, before he makes a stupid move on the country.
Well, I fell into hell again. I ordered some shafts and epoxy from Diamond Tour Golf on March 25th. It usually takes 2-3 days to get my shipments from them. Now, on April 1st, I still don't have it and after checking, I see it went UPS/Smart Post. No wonder I'm still waiting. It looks like I can't even get the location it's held up at by tracking either.
What do you guys do when a package is floating out there .... I have something out there on 4/5, one update on 4)7 and since nada. Do you guys call the 800 # ? Suggestions....

ode Send the complaint through their website, unless you like being on hold, or pushing numerous buttons for responses. You'll get a quick response; within 24 hrs. anyway. Typically, it's like jiggling a stuck lock. Once you do it, things free up quickly.
And never wait past 5 days to complain. It should be delivered in 2-3, NO EXCUSES about Covid!!

When this happens, I let the person who sold it to me know so they can do the investigating. I've also called my own local post office who has always been very helpful.
Stayed on hold one time not all that long ago (a few months back) through the 800#. That was a worthless endeavor. The takeaway was...Don't worry. Your package will eventually get to to you, we just don't know when. It was well over a week late on priority mail. Woman cited COVID reducing staff, and told me x amount of million packages have to go through that facility every day.
Shipped Tuesday 16th of Feb. from Alabama. (Should take no more than 3 days on priority and usually 2)
Received Saturday 27th of Feb.

LBlack14 When you file a complaint on the website, it is directed to the P.O. that handled the package, and they are the ones that will respond. Sometimes, that complaint will be forwarded to the last known hub/P.O. that accepted the package. I got immediate responses to let me know I would get an answer in 24 hrs. or less. ALL responses were signed by the Postmaster, from the appropriate service area.
The only problem I've had was with a M.O. that was sent to me. We both filed complaints on both ends, but to no avail. After several weeks, and the $$ matter taken care of another way, it did finally show up, 6 weeks or so later.
I do not advise sending envelopes during these times. Too many boxes to get tangled up in.

DonM After the Texas fiasco, I shook every tree at the 4 day mark. I never gave them a breather; Priority Mail says 2-3 days when I print the labels. I expect it! Some took a couple more days, but who knows how long they would have let them all sit around.
Since then, 2-3 days has been the norm for packages I've shipped. Mainly, 2 days anywhere.
Think I did have a slight hangup last week with Steve's box.

I have my doubts I'm ever receiving this particular item. If I do, this is the most convoluted routing I've ever seen on any package I've ever had sent to me.
Nothing like the scenic tour from Portland, OR to Massachussetts, and then on up to Nashua, NH.
Coast-to-Coast and my item's toast.
