The first few batches of online ordering should arrive this week.
Any real life feedback, yet ?

    I bit, I don't need balls, but for $15 a dozen I'll give them a good go.

I bought 2 dozen today. Will try to get out soon and report back.

not on the Costco Canada site...sigh...

Balls arrived today, they feel nice. Hope they go straight and have a little durability. I'll get out tomorrow or Sunday to give them a round.

Be more interested in the durability than the performance. I know it'll perform well.
Does the dimple pattern similar to any golf ball you know ? Titleist NXT tour-S or the DT Tru Soft ?

          Release
Actually it has almost a hexagonal type dimple. Just not as pronounced as the Callaway balls. But, a definite squared off edge to the dimple.

I always jiggle my balls before putting them in play! Or, I have someone else jiggle them first if I'm lucky!

Ok, I went out into the back yard and hit some full GW shots into my net with this ball to test durability and feel. Ball felt pretty firm, not mushy to me at all.

Now, durability seems like it will be ok. My GW is an old Purefit IDraw 51° that can take shavings off of the best premium ball, I put 7 or 8 swings on it and did not see much more then a couple small blemishes. It held up pretty well for that club especially. My other clubs don't affect the ball the way that Purefit does, so I'm guessing it will last for me at least.

Oh, I also compared it to the other premium balls I have in my bag. Dimple wise, like I suspected, the Callaway was the closest aesthetically. Bridgestone, Nike, Titleist, and Srixon were not similar at all.

            Thanks,
Sounds like a keeper for $30/2 doz. shipped to the door.

Well, here is my short review from my 18 hole round today.

Now, I was swinging like poop today, just didn't feel right but I think I got enough good swings mixed in to have an idea about the ball.

First thing, this ball seemed to hold its line pretty well with cross winds and into the wind. The wind was howling today 20+ and the ball stayed on its starting line and only moved on the decent.

Distance off the driver seemed as good as anything I've used. Again, lots of wind so I was factoring that in but my good swings gave as good or better results then with other premium balls I have used.

Iron distance was where I noticed a difference. It could be good or bad depending on how you feel about it, but this ball seemed to really jump off of the irons. I was hitting the ball almost a club farther with crosswind and into the wind I didn't have to club up as much. I actually flew the green twice into the wind when I clubbed up one club. I hit another ball each time with the normal club for that distance and was able to put that ball on the green. So it may take a little practice to dial in iron distance. I want to play it again with less wind to see if the results are the same

Ball putted well, firm feel off all the clubs including the putter. Not mushy sounding like some balls.

Green side spin? My course has bermuda greens that don't let the ball grab like bent grass, so it was hard for me to tell just how well it spun. I can say it played similar to Pro V balls on the same types of shots in the past. I want to again try it out on a different course with more friendly greens.

Full wedge shots seemed to hit and stick pretty close to the ball mark, again just like other premium balls I've played on this course.

Durability wise, they are pretty tough little balls. If you have sharp wedges you may leave some marks, but I can do that with all the other premium balls too. No big gouges or anything at all. No cart path (the one path I hit I couldn't find the ball) so can't tell how that would hold up. I did hit a couple trees and couldn't see any damage.

For $15 I think these balls are a heck of a deal.

Only complaint is that the line on the ball doesn't stand out very well because the font is so small. A sharpie line would be useful on these balls.

Now I wonder how many doz. should I get.

You can ask your relative or family members in the States to get a couple for you, either hold on to it or ship the most economic way to Canada.
We won't be going to the B.C. area until maybe end of the year or next Spring. Normally we'll take a day trip several times a year to the B.C. Richmond, Burnaby, no plan when the next trip would be.

Thanks for the review. I am tempted, but they only come in white right now. I have not played white in three years or more. The price is great very low for what seems a darn good ball.

The Callaway balls I mentioned earlier were the HX Tour, but they were 3 pc.. Was reminded yesterday when I found one on the course. I gave it to Jake to hit on the next hole(311 yds.) and he went through the green with it!!

When scuffed, these HX Tours will have a dark yellowish/gold color under the white paint, btw.

The other Callaway ball I was thinking of is the Tour ix.......

            "Description
The technologically advanced Tour ix Golf Ball featured 4-piece inertia technology and dual core construction designed to optimize distance. The ball's high-density outer core moves weight away from the center of the ball for increased moment of inertia (MOI) resulting in reduced driver spin for increased distance and accuracy. The ball's dual core construction allows for great distance off the tee while still offering spin around the green. The lower compression inner core provides low spin off the driver for great distance while the higher compression outer core provides high chip-shot spin." (circa 2010)

According to one of the reviews these are a rebranded Nassau Quattro ball: http://www.nassaugolf.co.uk/golf-balls/nassau-quattro/

From the feedback on here and the reviews on Costco's website they seem like a winner. I just ordered up 4 packs (96 balls), because at this price I expect them to either sell out quickly or the price will get raised if they're selling really well. If they're great balls then I'll be playing them for a few years until I run out. Or if I don't like them as much as my current gamer ('16 Bridgestone B330-RX which are ~$35/dz delivered) then I'll just return the unopened packs for a refund. 🙂
