  • NEW! Kirkland Signature Four-Piece Urethane Cover - Buy Now!

Today is Indian Summer, got to a balmy 72°F by 1 P.M..
Wearing shorts in mid November here in the NW region.

Maybe because of the warmer temperature, Today in the cooler morning the Nike PD Distance ball was the longest off the tee and in the afternoon, a Bridgestone B330 was the longest off the tee ( at 108 compression ).
The Kirkland Signature was middle of the road, a very steady nice golf ball. Performed well at any temperature.

Although the B330 was longer by more than a few yards under the sunshine.

NO ROLL in the fairway.

    Release

I reckon I'll just join the club once they get a new shipment in... of course it's a few weeks away according to the website.

I'm a member at Sam's Club, and enjoy the savings and everything, but it's on the other side of town. A new Costco just opened about 15 minutes away, so I'd probably take advantage of the membership anyway.

Very interested to see if these balls hold up endurance-wise. I'm assuming the urethane cover process isn't any different from other 4-pc premiums, but the only way to know is to try them. Like someone else said though - it wouldn't be a shocker if they increase the price if they become huge sellers. Sounds like they're already enjoying some good reviews and they're not having an issue moving them. But even if they increased 5 bucks a dozen, that's still a considerable value compared to $40+ per dozen for named brand.

In general, locally the Costco warehouse carry more variety and better pricing/quality than the Sam's Club.
Sam's Club could not broke into the local Costco origination State
A few days ago I saw a display of K.S. golf balls at the end of aisle near the center of the warehouse 5 miles from home, must be a crate or two. A new warehouse opening 17 miles away and it advertised having 1700 boxes of the K.S. golf balls.

I don't need more golf balls, even if I need to get additional golf balls in a few years, i'll be glade to pay a little more then $15/doz for this golf ball.

Never tried these. I did get a dozen of the MGs and liked them fine.

However, my most recent golf ball purchase that really surprised me was a couple dozen Maxfli Revolutions that I picked up really cheaply at Dick's. These are really nice balls. I played Maxfli balls a lot when I was in high school, but they went the way of the dodo bird for quite some time. Their new balls are good balls and the price is right.

Have played a sleeve of the KS balls and am impressed. I don't get quite as much spin out of them as some of the other higher end balls, but I sure get plenty to satisfy. Yesterday I hit a 9 iron from about 130. A playing partner was standing on the green and the ball hit on a slight downslope, one-hopped and backed up the slope about 4' short of the ball mark. He is going to Costco this week to try to find some.

I have also discovered that they do not float and get lost in the woods just as easily as anything I've ever played.

Gammapi I have also discovered that they do not float and get lost in the woods just as easily as anything I've ever played.

2 qualities a golf ball must have before I'll consider buying them!! Otherwise, they will definitely not fit in my game plan. I need to try these asap.

Two pellets full of this K.S. balls had disappeared from our local warehouse.
Had not seen it since the first couple of days it was on the floor.

      Bangoman

I think the price point for the value is what attracts consumers.

Actually I hit the softer distance ball longer in the Winter condition. Someone from a warmer weather could leave feedback on how this KS golf ball performs with a more demanding condition.

I just checked Costco's website and the balls are back in stock. They held the price of $29.99 for 2 dozen of these 'silver bullet' Signatures and added $2.99 for shipping.

Not that it had not been done on an annual base, Titleist announced NEW line for ProV1 , V1X for 2017.
2016 models are discounted to $39.99 retail, some are at discount store for slightly lower.

Just tried to order some more and got this:

Out of stock on line, again !

They say they'll restock on line, the 20th of Dec. Maybe some local store still has a few box, but one needs to call customer service to find out which warehouse might have inventory.

darpar Conforms with USGA and R&A Rules

Ok, I was going say something derogatory about this statement, and I must say Costco needs to change this statement.

The Kirkland Signature ball is USGA APPROVED, not just 'conforms'!! It is on the list, good to go in tourneys.
